This eye disease is characterized by inflammatory processes in the vessels of the retina. As a rule, venous vessels are affected. There is a hemorrhage in the vitreous body of the eye and its retina. In some cases, the disease leads to cataracts, glaucoma, retinal detachment.
Traumatic angiopathy
The disease most often occurs as a result of constricted injuries of the human chest. With increasing pressure in the blood vessels of the eye, they are damaged. There are hemorrhages in the area of the retina and optic nerve.
Treatment
When retinal angiopathy occurs, blood flow in the vascular system of the eyes becomes difficult. Therefore, the patient is prescribed drugs that improve blood microcirculation. In the treatment of angiopathy accompanied by diabetes, a strict diet is additionally prescribed. In addition, retinal angiopathy is treated using physical therapy methods.
