Since 1983, he was the head, as well as an actor and director in the children's theater studio. He wrote music for her three performances.

His musical "One morning before sunset" became the laureate of the World Festival.

In 1988 A. Fedorov graduated from GITIS and received the specialty of director. In the same year he created the Children's Musical Theater of the young actor. Alexander Lvovich staged over sixty musical performances around the world.

The Adventures of Oliver Twist

The theater of the young actor represents on its stage the famous musical Lionel Barth based on the novel by Charles Dickens.

This book was first published in England in 1838. She talks about a boy who had no parents. He lived in a shelter and was forced to work from childhood. Then he fled and got into a gang of thieves Mr. Fagin. But in the end I found my grandfather, who turned out to be a wealthy Englishman and took the boy to him.

Oliver is met on the way by nobility and baseness, kind people and criminals. And he himself manages to remain sincere and honest.

C. Dickens himself knew firsthand what poverty and hard work have been since childhood. He was born into a wealthy family. He was a spoiled boy surrounded by love. But the family went bankrupt, and he, then a child, had to work in a factory to help his mother. In those far years, the future writer decided for himself that he would certainly succeed, become rich, and would never again know the deprivations and humiliations.

The premiere of this famous musical took place in 1960 in London. His success was tremendous. A record number of performances was given for that time. Their number exceeds only musicals E.L. Webber. Oliver Twist has been honored with many awards. A film was shot based on it, which received six Oscars.

This performance is still popular and staged at various stage venues in the world.

Theater charity

Moscow Theater of the Young Actor

The theater of the young actor is active in charity. Master classes for children with cerebral palsy are held here. This is a joint project of the theater and the Artists and Children charity foundation.

At master classes, children are taught folk crafts. The works of boys and girls with cerebral palsy, which they perform in such classes, are exhibited at a charity fair. Each visitor can purchase any of the children's works, thereby helping fund wards to raise money for the necessary treatment or rehabilitation.

After the master class, the children and their parents receive an interesting performance as a gift from the theater of the young actor.

Such events are very important for sick children, because they gain the opportunity to develop their creative abilities, receive positive emotions, communicate, forget about medicines and hospitals. Art and creativity also produce a healing effect.

The theater also, in conjunction with the Be Human Charitable Foundation, holds New Year's performances for "special" children. These are good tales that give boys and girls joy.

Here, the guys not only watch an interesting show, but also play with animators and take part in various master classes. And they can see Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden here and receive gifts from them.
