A very common disease in children is conjunctivitis. There is a pathology due to the hypothermia of the baby, the common cold, as well as allergic reactions. These drugs must be instilled at the initial stage of the pathology every three hours. For infants, a ten percent solution of the "Albucid" medication is used. The following remedies are recommended for older children : Levomycetin, Kolbiocin, Futsitalmik, Vitabakt or Eubital. Treatment of conjunctivitis in a child can also take place with the use of eye ointments (erythromycin or tetracycline). These funds should be applied to the lower eyelid.
Treatment of conjunctivitis in a child, if done correctly and on time, gives excellent results. The disease passes quickly enough. However, parents should not self-medicate, risking the health of the baby. Only a doctor, after examining and laboratory tests, will be able to establish the causative agent of the disease and prescribe the necessary course of therapy.
