Death
On January 31, 2017, the well-known editor of Channel One was hospitalized in serious condition in one of the capital's hospitals. Doctors diagnosed a stroke in Sergey Kushnarev.
A courageous and strong man even in the hospital fought until the last minute of his life. At first, doctors evaluated the condition of the producer as stably difficult, but then the situation changed dramatically, and on February 27, the journalist's heart stopped. The cause of the death of Sergei Kushnaryov was called a repeated stroke.
The 54-year-old producer was buried in the Khovansky cemetery. All colleagues and friends came to conduct it. A lot of ordinary viewers found time to say goodbye to Sergey.
