Is it possible overnight, once waking up in the morning, to become famous? No, not like Herostratus, who burned the library, but to gain real fame and respect? Many viewers, fans of the contest "Ukraine's talent", could repeatedly watch such a miracle. In this show, the talented parody actor Valery Yurchenko gained popularity, although he did not win a complete victory. In the recent past, namely in 2009, a simple policeman entered the top ten parodists. He was applauded while standing! Only up to this high point there were years of hard work, ups and downs, the pangs of creativity and flashes of insight. But first things first.
Valery Yurchenko: how did he get to ...
On one of the sultry August days, and to be exact, early in the morning of August 18 forty years ago, a boy Valera was born in a small village near Nikolaev. An ordinary child, like all boys. But his parents were teachers, they didn’t expect souls in their son, therefore they taught, taught, taught. They tried to give a comprehensive education and strictly asked, because he should be an example for others, not to be put to shame, and so on. Imagine that in the morning there is a school, after the lessons there is again a school, only a musical one, and in the evening there are two personal teachers at once who check all homework with bias. In such circumstances, one cannot live without a sense of humor. But Valery Yurchenko has this ability in full. As, however, and ear for music, a beautiful voice, keen observation and a host of other virtues.
At the age of 14, a young talent graduated from the music school named after Rimsky-Korsakov in the city of Nikolaev, then general education. Right after that, he entered, where would you think? Of course, to the pedagogical institute! In 1998, he received a diploma from the Faculty of Music and World Art Culture, plus a military department.
“I also have a voice! I want to sing too! ”
With these words, Gusev from Adventures of Electronics can characterize the mood of a young specialist, a graduate of the Nikolaev Pedagogical Institute Valery Yurchenko. Well, he didn’t want to go to school, even if only as a teacher! And I always wanted to sing. All friends and acquaintances unanimously say that a cheerful, groovy, with a special charisma Valery always becomes the soul of the company. Not a single feast is complete without songs. The guitar and accordion are his favorite instruments that are always nearby. “In general, not a man, but a song!” - characterize his friends.
Therefore Valery Yurchenko did not go to school, but went to the choir at the Drama and Musical Comedy Theater of Nikolaev.
Songs - even crack
The harsh nineties affected most post-Soviet people. Not bypassed the problem and our hero. The singer and musician had to become a local policeman. Five years, from 2003 to 2008, Valery Yurchenko served as a district police officer, but his love of music won. He is appointed the head of the song and dance ensemble at the Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Nikolaev Region. Finally things went uphill. There is less free time, but after all, doing your favorite thing is not a job, but a hobby! At this time, parodies began to gain a voice. Earlier Valery noticed and perfectly copied the movements and manners of pop stars, but now he realized that he can “make” voices.
Who does not risk
As a parody artist Valery Yurchenko took place in 2009, when he ventured to take part in an all-Ukrainian show.
Now in his repertoire collected more than 15 well-recognized personalities. The most beloved by the public are Freddie Mercury, Alexander Rybak, Verka Serduchka, Lyudmila Gurchenko, Vladimir Presnyakov, Nikolai Baskov. Parodied stars, by the way, are not offended at all. On the contrary, they are surprised at accuracy and skill, laughing at good jokes.
After speaking at the competition, the parodist Valery Yurchenko travels around the country with concerts, which invariably have great success. Spectators who saw his performances “live” note that the artist has a face from which any image can be fashioned. They also admire his strong voice, charisma, the talent of a parodist, a sense of humor and the absence of star fever.
The popularity of the parodist has done its job. Before Valery, new horizons and opportunities began to open. A contract was signed with STB, a new interesting work began.
Other Role
On television, the parodist gradually acquired a new profession. Now the actor Valery Yurchenko starred in the comic series-parodies "Nedoturkany", "Obscene Games", takes part in the filming of the Ukrainian version of the program "Big Difference".
