Real fishermen, both beginners and experienced enough, always wonder if it is possible to make boilies for carp with their own hands. Because the stores are quite expensive, and do not always allow you to satisfy the tastes of such finicky fish as carp. It turns out that this is not difficult at all, and everyone can do it. Even directly at the fishing spot.

- flavors and colorants.

You can take a purchased one as a base mixture, from which boilies for carp are prepared with your own hands, or you can mix it from corn, soy flour, semolina, milk powder. Flavors and dyes are those components that should attract carp, interest it and make it try. Therefore, it is recommended to paint the balls even in the brightest colors: yellow, red, purple.

But the aromatic preferences of these fish vary depending on the time of year, on a particular reservoir and on many other factors. If in the spring they often prefer meat tastes, then in the summer heat they need boilies for carp, made with vegetable flavors with their own hands. Break the eggs into a deep bowl, add bulk ingredients and knead the dough. It all depends on the goal: if you are preparing drowning boilies for carp with your own hands, then the dough should be cool, and if floating, it should be a little thinner. It is divided into long sausages, and then cut into small pieces from which the balls are rolled. In order for the final product to turn out to be especially solid and for a long time lie on the bottom, attracting fish, the balls need to be frozen. In order to get solid boilies that are designed for long fishing and do not get sour in water, they are boiled in boiling water for at least two minutes. The specific time is determined empirically. And if fishing will be in reservoirs where there is a lot of fish, floating boilies are necessary. They are advised to make them in the microwave with their own hands.

Carp boilies are an effective and well-functioning bait. But since it is not always possible to choose the ones that are needed from the whole variety of store products, it is worth trying to cook them yourself. It is recommended to try different flavors and dyes on each pond in order to choose the best. Knowledge about the taste preferences of fish, depending on the season and a particular place, can come only with experience. And one more subtlety: when preparing bait for carp with your own hands, you need to use the same flavors as in boilies to achieve greater efficiency.
