Since the time vitamins were discovered, scientists and doctors have been constantly debating and arguing about their effectiveness and effect on the body. Studies and experiments have been repeatedly conducted, the purpose of which was to identify the actual benefits of the drug for humans.
The compatibility of vitamins has caused a new wave of discussions in modern medicine, and this problem is occupied not only by doctors, but also by patients. The fact is that today pharmaceutical companies have chosen a new line for the production of multivitamins and mineral complexes - their separate use. They argue that vitamin preparations need a long check and control, because there is an opinion that many of the constituent components mutually destroy each other.
Vitamin compatibility has long been considered only a hypothesis, but recently it has been proven that some elements can adversely affect the absorption of vitamins.
First of all, this applies to vitamins and minerals, it is very difficult to compose them with each other, so it is best to take them at different times of the day. Modern pharmaceutical companies offer a fairly wide selection of drugs with separate intake of trace elements and vitamins. It should be remembered that, on average, the absorption of a substance in the body is carried out within 2-4 hours. This means that the minimum interval between taking capsules or tablets of vitamins and other elements should be 2 hours.
We can say that the compatibility of vitamins is the discovery of modern pharmacology, because it turns out that before most of the multivitamin preparations were simply not absorbed, i.e. a truly significant therapeutic effect did not occur. No one undertakes to claim that multivitamins in one tablet are absolutely useless. Of course, some of the drugs are still absorbed, but it is far from the daily requirement.
If the patient receives an adequate balanced diet and consumes fruits and vegetables daily, then it is not necessary to take vitamins and minerals separately. In this case, the usual complex of vitamins will be quite enough.
Vitamin and Micronutrient Compatibility
Inappropriate is the combined use of Cu, Fe, Mn with ascorbic acid, vitamins B2, B5, B9, B12. It should be noted that B vitamins do not combine well with trace elements, therefore, there are special complexes of these vitamins without other components.
Vitamin H is best avoided with raw egg yolk and cheese.
The compatibility of B vitamins is a serious problem, because most often these drugs are used to normalize the functioning of the nervous system - this means that the drug must enter the blood as quickly as possible and at the maximum therapeutic dosage. Accordingly, it is necessary to choose the optimal dosage, time and method of administration of vitamins.
The optimal combination of certain B vitamins:
- vitamin B12 goes well with ascorbic acid
- B1 and B12, B9; B6 and vitamin PP - the perfect combination of vitamins with each other
- Vitamin B2 combines perfectly with Vitamin A.
It must be remembered that the combination of vitamins C and B12 is absolutely unacceptable, because B12 is immediately destroyed. The combined use of B1 and B12 can lead to an exacerbation of the allergic reaction caused by B1.
Vitamin A and E Compatibility
It is believed that the combination of vitamins A and E is optimal for women. After all, this combination helps to improve the appearance of skin and hair, and also has a beneficial effect on the genitals of women. However, today it is believed that it is best to consume these vitamins separately, because it has been proven that the effect of vitamin E is significantly reduced under the influence of vitamins A, D and K. It should be borne in mind that vitamin E does not combine well with iron, but it combines perfectly with vitamins B8 , B4 and F.
