Opera does not work what to do?

This is not to say that the problem that is listed in the title of the article is very relevant, I think many will agree that Opera is a fairly stable browser with many recognized advantages. But if it happened that Opera is not working, what to do in this case, how to put in order such a necessary tool for working on the Internet? Let's try to parse some of the most common browser failure options.

So, if the opera does not open, what to do, how to eliminate this failure? First of all, pay attention to when accessing which programs your browser does not work, it happens during a network connection or when you are offline. Also pay attention to whether the program is restarted and how it happens.

If, with the help of such an "enumeration" of programs that could potentially interfere with the correct operation of the browser, you could not establish the cause, you will have to understand the problem more deeply. To do this, enter the task manager and note whether the opera.exe process is running on your computer. In the event that the process is running, turn it off, stop and try to start the browser in this mode. This sometimes happens when the program is turned off and the process is running.

A situation also happens when Opera is slowing down. What to do in this case? As a rule, this is manifested in the fact that the user is not able to open his profile in the mail client, or the pages on specific resources, for example, social networks, do not open (or open very slowly). In this case, the problem can be solved in a fairly simple way, which has been used many times. Its advantage is also that it is applicable on almost all operating systems, is suitable for users of Windows XP, and for those who prefer Windows 7. When fixing the error, it is important to carefully consider the sequence of operations. The essence of this problem is to correctly clean the temporary folders containing the error due to which Opera does not work. What to do in this case - the logic of the error itself suggests - you need to find temporary folders and eliminate the erroneous file from them. To do this, set the display mode of folders in the control panel to “show hidden files and folders” and find them (these are TEMP, Prefetch folders, and also AppData folders) on the hard drive where Windows is installed. To clean them, use the “disk cleanup” service resource available on any operating system.

After automatic cleaning, a deletion check must be performed. To do this, go to the user folder (Users \ Username) and find the Opera folder. If it is still present, delete it manually. In addition, delete the folder with the installed program, it is located at C: \ Users \ Username \ AppData \ Roaming \ Opera. If the opera still does not work, what should I do next? We find the Prefetch folder and delete from it all the files without exception that contain the browser name in their name, their names may look like this: C: \ WINDOWS \ Prefetch \ OPERA.EXE-6DB9CDD6.pf. After such manipulations, remove the program from the Windows menu, restart the computer and install the program again. As a rule, after such "procedures" the browser works stably and without errors.

Now the software is updated very quickly, and developers of the popular browser are not far behind this trend. Therefore, quite often we are invited to install additional services and gadgets designed to make working with the Opera more convenient and productive. When installing these applications, errors can also occur that lead to program crashes. If you installed the proposed gadget or application from the program itself, and as a result, Opera does not work - what to do in this case? You just need to remove this update and try to run Opera without an application. If the browser works fine, you can try to install it again or continue using the browser without a “capricious” application.
