Biography
Pavel Vitalievich Dmitrichenko was born in a family of ballet dancers in Moscow on January 3, 1984. His parents Vitaliy Pavlovich and Nadezhda Alekseevna worked in the Igor Moiseyev Folk Dance Ensemble. Pavel was the third, late child in the family and the first boy, so his father devoted much time to his only son and developed an exclusively athletic personality in him.
Pavel Dmitrichenko was involved in football, hockey, martial arts; there were no thoughts about ballet. A friend of the family and the famous hockey player of the USSR Vladimir Lutchenko was ready to take on the boy and train as professional athletes. In 1993, Pavel entered the State Academy of Choreography, where Yuri Vasyuchenko and Igor Uksusnikov, outstanding artists of the Bolshoi Theater, became his mentors.

At the interrogation, Dmitrichenko denied that he was preparing a heavy massacre of acid. Zarutsky himself fully admitted his guilt and clarified that neither the dancer, nor the driver of Lipatov knew about the method of assassination of Filin. However, Filin’s state prosecutors and lawyers insisted on a thorough investigation and the search for irrefutable evidence of Pavel Dmitrichenko’s guilt.
We considered the main motives, among which were Dmitrichenko’s desire to take the post of artistic director, revenge for the oppressed ballerina and Dmitrichenko’s common-law wife, Angelina Vorontsova. The surname Tsiskaridze again surfaced, with which Dmitrichenko allegedly was in collusion. Also, the characterization of Paul as a quick-tempered "truth-teller" and a straightforward person indicated that he was quite capable of such a crime. All motives were refuted, the troupe of the theater, led by Tsiskaridze, repeatedly wrote letters in defense of Dmitrichenko.
Twenty-eight court hearings, and the sentence was pronounced under section 111 of the Criminal Code (“Causing grievous bodily harm by prior conspiracy”). Zarutsky and Lipatov received 10 years and 4 years in prison respectively. Dmitrichenko Pavel Vitalievich was sentenced to six years in prison in a maximum security colony. All three were also required to pay Filin compensation in the amount of 3 million rubles.
