Perhaps it does not bother anyone at all, but there are people who do not want to see her. This article will explain how to remove ads in uTorrent using three simple methods.

Remove ads in the uTorrent program

Before you remove ads in uTorrent, it’s worth explaining that developers add it for a reason. It is precisely because there are advertising banners in the program interface that they receive money. Therefore, before following the instructions below, decide for yourself whether you want to deprive the developer of earnings.

Method 1: Using AdGuard

Using the presented program, you can remove ads in uTorrent 3.4.2 and in earlier versions of the product. It is also capable of working not only with torrent clients, but also with other applications. If you, for example, want to disable advertising banners only in uTorrent, then in the settings you can sort applications: in which users enable this function, and in which they do not.

So, we will go directly to the instructions on how to remove ads in uTorrent using the AdGuard program:

1. Launch the app.
2. Go to settings. They are located in the lower left corner of the window.
3. Go to the Filterable Applications section.
4. Make sure uTorrent is in the list of selected ones.

5. In the list, click on the component of the same name and put the switch, which is located at the bottom of the window, in the "NO" position. You can do the same action by simply double-clicking the name with the left mouse button.

Unfortunately, in Windows 7 it will not be possible to remove ads in Torrent in the previous way. The fact is that some components will be missing. But they are simply hidden, and to display them you need to perform a certain sequence of actions. This is what will be discussed now:

2. On the main screen, press and hold Shift + F2.
3. Press the "Settings" button, select "Program Settings" from the menu.
4. Go to the "Advanced" section. Recall that all these actions must be performed while holding down the Shift + F2 keys.
