Plot

The action of this performance takes place around the lone teacher of the Russian language Nadezhda Alexandrovna, who, as they say, put an end to herself. Well-groomed, with very low self-esteem, she alone raised her daughter with the strange name of Lolilut for 25 years. Loliluta’s father and Nadia’s husband died on the wedding day, falling into a sewer hatch on the way from the registry office - he looked at the stranger’s miniskirt. However, Nadezhda does not tell her daughter the truth about her father, passing him off as a hero pilot who died in the war, holding his huge portrait on the wall and celebrating every anniversary of “a possible life together” with a feast involving a military uniform thrown over the back of a chair.

Loliluta says she works as an escort, however, Nadezhda Aleksandrovna does not believe that her daughter is telling the truth and only accompanies wealthy clients to events, restaurants or theaters, without hesitation calling her a prostitute.

The plot occurs at the moment when the daughter of Nadi falls ill. She is going to go to work, despite the high temperature, but Nadezhda Aleksandrovna manages to leave her at home. Having dressed in an unusual evening gown of an emerald shade, the woman herself goes to the challenge intended for her daughter.

Arriving at the place, Nadia discovers a client - Yegor Ivanovich - tied up in a chair. She was taken aback by Tomochka, Yegor’s wife, dressed in a Japanese kimono and holding a samurai sword at the ready. But bloodshed does not occur - women suddenly find a common language with glasses of sake. Having talked, Nadezhda Aleksandrovna and Tomochka understand that they have much more in common than it might have seemed at first. An excerpt from this comic scene can be seen below.

After this, Tomochka and Egor Ivanovich are visiting Nadezhda Aleksandrovna. And here is a new surprise, Loliluta's father and Nadia's failed husband returned. He is dressed in a military uniform and gives the impression of a shell-shock, alternating bouts of sudden sleep with his face in a pan with bouts of aggressive speech, more like a rally. Looking at him, Tomochka and Yegor Ivanovich understand how lucky they are with each other, and, having reconciled, they leave in a lyrical mood. Then Loliluta reveals a secret - in fact, her colleague Andrei was pretending to be a father. Nadezhda Alexandrovna finally tells her daughter the whole truth about her father. Women hug and accept each other for what they are. Loliluta leaves, and Nadia, who has believed in herself and her feminine power, accepts her daughter’s next order by phone and goes to meet with the president.

Cast

Bow out

All the actors of the play "My Dear" are well-known figures in television, and therefore they will be familiar even to those viewers who do not often attend theatrical productions. The main role in the production, namely the comedic and touching teacher Nadezhda Aleksandrovna, was played by Olesya Zheleznyak, best known for her role as Zoya Misochkina in the film "Silver Lily of the Valley", as well as familiar to viewers from the TV series "My Fair Nanny" and "Matchmakers".

Olesya Zheleznyak in the title role

The second actress, for which most people go to this performance, is the People’s Artist of Russia Tatyana Kravchenko, who, in addition to a huge number of theatrical and film roles, is familiar to the audience all from the same series of “Matchmakers”.

The famous actor Andrei Leonov, the son of the great Evgeny Leonov, brilliantly coped with his role of Yegor Ivanovich. Viewers are well acquainted with his image of a father with many children in the series "Daddy's Daughters."

The singer of the role of Loluta, Daria Mikhaylichenko, will seem the least familiar to the ordinary viewer - this is because she appears on television a little, preferring the theater scene.

Together with Olesya Zheleznyak, her husband plays Spartak Sumchenko in the play “My Dear” - it is he who plays the role of Andrei, pretending to be the husband of Nadezhda Alexandrovna. In the second part, the role of Andrei is played by actor Andrei Butin, who is also familiar to the audience with his small but memorable roles in the TV series My Fair Nanny and Daddy's Daughters.

The opinion of critics

Reviews about the play "My Dear" from critics were quite restrained. They called the performance a wonderful example of an enthreprise production, mentioning among its strengths light humor, a brilliant comedic game of all actors, and the absence of superfluous or undisclosed characters. The criterion called the script itself, according to which the production was made, a big minus. They agreed that the plot is weak in and of itself and many barely marked plot lines noticeably sag towards the end. At the same time, critics noted that all the humorous dialogues were spelled out perfectly, and if the viewer wants to “not bother with the plot” and just spend time laughing heartily, “My Dear” will be a worthy option.

Positive feedback from viewers

Scene from the play

The game Olesya Zheleznyak in the reviews of the play "My Sweetheart" is mentioned most often. Viewers write that the actress, whom they knew firsthand about the comedic talent, in this production was also revealed from the tragicomedy side, showing brilliant opportunities not only to make laugh, but also to take it for granted. A lot of good was also written about the game of the other actors, highlighting, of course, the game of Tatyana Kravchenko, the famous master of the humorous episode.

Judging by the reviews, even the audience who rarely visit the theater was highly appreciated by the play “My Dear” - they wrote that they had a very pleasant time without leaving a single comic remark of the characters without laughing.

Most viewers are strongly advised to attend this production, if possible. They write that they’ve watched “My Sweetheart” with pleasure, more than once, always relaxing with their souls, relaxing, laughing heartily.

Negative reaction

One of the scenes of the play

However, there are also negative reviews from the audience about the play "My Dear." Like the critics, the remaining dissatisfied viewers mostly have complaints not with the actors or the director, but with the story itself. Someone considered the performance obscene, someone overly naive, and someone unfinished and "raw."

It was not possible to find negative reviews about the play "My Dear" aimed at the actors' play. Many wrote that their play, which did not convince them enough, was “pulled” by their favorite artists.

Separate claims of the audience were directed towards the organizers. For example, some parents were outraged by censorship 12+, believing that in the play, where there are hints of prostitution and betrayal, there is absolutely nothing for children under 16 to do. And in one of the cities, the spectators who visited the tour were not satisfied that Tomochka was not performed by Tatyana Kravchenko, and the organizers did not consider it necessary to notify the replacement of actresses.
