So who invented the dishwasher in a more convenient way? Thank Madame Josephine Cochrane for this. Madame patented her invention on December 31, 1885 at the US Patent Office. Accordingly, it is this time that is considered to be the year of the invention of the dishwasher. The following year, the first sample was assembled. This car was a basket of wood with an axis in the center. In the basket were various lattices on which dishes could be laid. This axis had to be untwisted by the hostess or the dishwasher. Thus, the necessary cleaning of the dishes took place.
