The boy very often attended performances, after which he only consolidated the confidence that the stage was his goal and dream. In 1985, Mayorov entered the acting department of GITIS. In 1989, the young graduate received several offers to work in theaters, but his supervisor recommended the Moscow Youth Theater. It was decided to follow the advice.
Carier start
In this theater he made his debut in the role of Egorushka, the play was called "Two Maples". Mayorov Sergey Anatolyevich once noted in an interview that he still recalls with pleasure the early productions. He really loved them.
But the young talent wanted something more. However, the beginning of perestroika in the country did not allow Sergei to play further in his performance and find something new for himself.

At the fateful meeting, the announcer invited Sergey to cover similar meetings with the stars on the Kinopanorama television program. From 1991 to 1993, this project was a resounding success. Some time later, he began to work as a freelance employee in Vlad Listyev’s Theme and Sight programs. Later, Mayorov met with the producer of the NTV channel Igor Pototsky.
The next two years (1996-1998) Sergey worked on this resource and released short videos of “Show Business News”. They were shown daily. But the administration of the channel was forced to close the popular project due to the unstable economic situation in the country.
After that, for five years, the former presenter of the NTV channel has been working with RTR and TVS, and also begins to collaborate with Radio Retro as a DJ. A little later this project will be renamed to “Retro FM”. The journalist’s portfolio also replenished with the fact that he managed to work on the American channel CNN.
