Theater History
The Puppet Theater (Rostov-on-Don) was opened almost a hundred years ago. It was created by a small group of puppeteers. They worked from the heart, with inspiration and loving their work. Their performances were very popular. Then they worked only for children.

For 23 years of service, he staged more than thirty performances. Many of them have been awarded prestigious awards. A. Bylkov came to work in the theater in 1991, but at first he was a stage worker. After graduating from the University of Culture, he became a director. Since 1998, Andrei Vladimirovich is also a teacher. He trains future puppeteers.
In 2003, Andrei Vladimirovich became the main director of the Rostov Puppet Theater.
Among other things, he writes poetry, recently even published a collection of his works.
Another merit of A. Bylkov is that the Museum of Playing Dolls appeared at the theater.
In 2004, Andrei Vladimirovich was appointed artistic director of the Rostov Puppet Theater.
Now the puppet theater has a big problem with the room. The diocese of the city claims the building in which the troupe operates, claiming that it belonged to the church earlier and must now be returned.
