The dashing 90s are already far behind, but the biography of the famous criminal authorities of Russia to this day continues to arouse public interest. Rudik Oganov is one of the most influential thieves in law who controlled most of the territories of the USSR in those years. In addition, he started a bloody war with an equally authoritative âcolleagueâ and literally split the criminal world into two halves at one time.
Rudolf Oganov (Rudik Bakinsky): biography and photos
Rudolf Sergeevich Oganov was born on December 14, 1946 in the Azerbaijan SSR, in the city of Baku. The family of Armenians had five sons, three of whom subsequently joined the thieves clan after the younger - Rudik.
The trend towards a criminal biography suggests that during the time of the imposed communist ideology, the thieves' alternative was highly popular among the population, especially in the outlying republics.
Despite the fact that he was born last, the judicious, intelligent, cunning and fair Rudolf Oganov (Rudik) was considered among his relatives the eldest boy. It is not surprising that among the thief brothers he was also distinguished by special authority with authority: at the peak of his criminal "career", Bakinsky controlled part of Moscow territories and some regions of the USSR, and was also the leader of the Armenian organized crime group - an organized criminal group.
A family
The family "Oganovsky" clan was not limited only to brothers. The husbands of Rudik's sisters and nieces - Zhenya Abramov and Rafik Avakov - were also members of the thieves' society and, like the rest of the Oganovs, were killed as a result of criminal showdowns.
The first clan left Sashik, crowned by his brother Rudolf Oganov (Rudik of Baku). The biography of Alexander was marked by an important life goal, which was to eliminate prison lawlessness. The same mission caused the death of the bandit, he stood up for his fellow countryman in the prison hospital, received a stab wound in the heart and died.
The last died Vachkos Six-fingered (Vladimir Oganov) - the most little-known of all family members a thief who was shot dead after the death of his younger brother. They could not find out the identity of the killer, however, the motives for the crime were obvious - eliminating the remaining follower of Rudik.
Almost immediately after the final âwalkâ, in 1983, Marina Oganova, the wife of Rudik, appeared in the life of a criminal authority. The lovers played a modest but cheerful wedding, which for a long time was remembered by the invited guests.
Baku left behind him not only criminal memories, but also twenty godchildren. To date, five of the successors of Rudik Oganov are alive. Where his wife and children are today, the public does not know.
Walkers
A general without a single âwalkerâ is an impostor in a criminal family. Rudik Oganov was a well-deserved thief in law. In 1969, he first received a term of 3 years in the Azerbaijani capital. However, in the spring of the same year he was released on parole (parole).
After 2 years, in 1971, he was again sentenced to the same term for the export and non-return of the property of the country. This time, Rudik Oganov had to serve his deserts, he was released only in 1974. The future "general" did not lose time: he crowned his brother and many other prisoners.
Compared with the deadline, the first two âwalkersâ seemed to the thief Rudik Oganov an easy walk. In 1975, he was again convicted as a recidivist for a long 8 years, 2 of which he spent in tightened conditions at the Zlatoust prison. However, it was precisely this period that Oganov climbed up the criminal ladder - after serving the allotted time, he left the prison not just as a thief, but as one of the leaders of the ACN (Armenian criminal community).
Criminal career
The promising Rudik Oganov was crowned at 24, when he was serving his second term in Bail prison. Despite his young age and relative thieves' experience, even then he was baptized with the respectful nickname of the General.
Rudolph was expecting a peak in career growth after serving his last term - it was after this release that he had a high influence in the criminal world. Having gone free, Oganov dodged for a long time at the crossroads of the criminal path: despite the high authority in Azerbaijan, the legalist sought to develop and conquer more and more territories.
Having moved to the region of Caucasian Mineral Waters, Rudik realized that no one was waiting for an influential thief with open arms here. The whole territory was divided, and no one was going to share with the recruit. A similar situation has developed in Tashkent. And only in Moscow did the Armenian find a comfortable place, sheltered under the reliable wing of large fellow countrymen-entrepreneurs and protecting those from the lawlessness of the anarchists who brazenly encroached on someone else's business.
Conflict with Usoyan
In the criminal world there is no strict hierarchy of authorities. The thief is either recognized as "brotherly" or not. However, in the late 80s, the unspoken leader among the âthievesâ was still - Aslan Rashidovich Usoyan, nicknamed Grandfather Hassan or just Grandfather. The influence of the criminal spread to parts of post-Soviet territory and parts of Western Europe.
Rudik Oganov showed interest in the most attractive area of ââhis institution, the south of Russia, a little later, but he did it with undisguised enthusiasm. The intersection of the interests of the two criminal authorities grew into a real war, where more than 150 ordinary and elite members of the gangs died.
The open bloody showdown of thieves was accompanied by the organization of entire programs aimed at discrediting each other, where Rudik won in such a behind-the-scenes game, as evidenced by the unexpected loss of Grandfather's status in the thieves' clan.
Hassan's Disarray
Diplomatic attempts to reconcile the two "generals" were unsuccessful, most often the police intervened in the gatherings of the "lads". In an effort to defame his enemy, Rudik conducted active propaganda among criminal brothers, accusing Hassan of activities unworthy of a thief in law: selling and distributing drugs, supplying alcohol for the production of counterfeit vodka, wasting âcommon fundâ, undeserved coronation of bandits.
Remembering his demotion to fraer in 1963 and a protracted return to the ranks in 1986, Hassan carefully avoided gatherings and answers to the questions posed by the "fraternal". Such ignoring of face-to-face meetings is regarded extremely negatively among thieves, and the punishment of such persons is always cruel and unprecedented. At the end of 1997, by unanimous decision of the council members, Hassan was stripped of the thieves name and incarcerated.
The split of the thieves
Despite the humiliating discussions behind him, Hassan continued the war for his territory. Immediately after the desecration, he organized an alternative gathering of supporters, where he recognized the decision of the council as invalid and his authority as undeniable.
Usoyanâs influence persisted among many members of the thievesâs clan, so a real split occurred in the gangster family: some supported the experienced Grandfather, others remained on the side of the ambitious Oganov. Such a discord among thieves had good reasons - both authorities held completely different positions.
Rudik was a strict, conservative and fair thief, brought up on the "old school", according to the concepts of which one should not live well, but justly. Hassan, on the contrary, allowed a deviation from the established rules - members of his gang lived idly, and earned money, and were not burdened with integrity. This Usoyanov and attracted his supporters.
Attempt on Grandfather
The confrontation between Usoyan and Rudik did not maintain an intriguing mood for a short time - Oganov quickly went on the offensive, organizing a classic showdown. First, one of Hassanâs associates, Edik of Moscow, was killed; later, an assassination attempt against Usoyan himself was organized. On that day, there was not one authority, but in the company of dozens of thieves in law, many of whom were shot directly in the Sochi cafe. Grandfather himself at that moment walked away for several minutes and, by a lucky chance, remained alive.
They tried to reconcile indefatigable enemies at thieves' gatherings. So, in 1998, a congress was organized, which brought together about a hundred "brothers", 41 of which were criminal authorities. Combining a similar number of thieves in law is a painstaking and difficult task, but the police again intervened and did not allow the participants in the gathering to talk to the peace meeting again.
The last day of criminal authority
On October 29, 1998, Grandfather Hassan and his associates organized a gathering of influential âcolleagues,â where Rudik Oganov was sentenced to death, final and uncompromising. At that time, the criminal authority was in Pyatigorsk under the reliable protection of dozens of militants, so the execution of the strict verdict of the "lads" had to be postponed. The reason for the successful assassination appeared only on February 11, 1999, when Rudolph returned from his estate to Moscow with only one security driver.
On the way home, Oganov and his companion drove into a roadside cafe with a seemingly unpredictable goal - to drink tea. Suddenly, the doors of the restaurant opened wide and masked men and camouflage appeared on the threshold.
Criminal authority received a volley of four gun barrels.
Rudik's execution
Later, more than 40 bullets were found in his body, most of which went straight to the head. The only guard at that time got only 2. âLet him be tormented,â the attackers mercifully decided, showing a telling example to the rest of Oganovâs associates.
According to witnesses, the attackers were in the form of riot police. However, it was not possible to establish who was hiding under black masks and camouflage uniforms â the real police officers or dressed up front men. Neither the killer nor the customer of the crime were found.
Is Rudik alive?
The myth that Rudik Oganov (Baku) did not die is still being discussed timidly. Relatives and relatives of the murdered assured: Rudik knew about the impending assassination attempt. According to close associates, he bluntly stated: "I have already been ordered." - and even called the amount for his impending murder.
On that day, February 11, before opening fire, the mercenaries put visitors and members of the cafe staff on the floor, forcing everyone to turn away. They shot at a citizen who called himself Rudik, aiming mainly at the head, which caused difficulties for the investigation - it was almost impossible to recognize the face of the deceased. So was Rudik shot that day?
After the funeral, Oganova admitted that she did not find distinctive marks on his hands. Moreover, according to her, a brother once explicitly hinted that in the near future he would be forced to disappear. Chances are good - forever.
Continuation of the criminal war after the death of Rudik
âYou will not return to us, but we will come,â reads the inscription on the tombstone of a Baku thief. Such a phrase is far from religious in nature, which an ignorant might think of. She testifies that the "lads" are ready to avenge their General.
The murder of Rudolph did not solve the problem of the split of legalists, but only provoked Oganov's supporters. But the headless gang did not take revenge for the leader for long and continued the struggle for attractive territories of the country. Soon after the death of the last brother from the thieves' clan (Vachkos Bakinsky, who was shot dead after Rudolfâs death), one of the largest criminal conflicts among the âgeneralsâ came to naught.
The memory of Baku
The funeral of Oganov Rudik gathered many criminal authorities from all over the country, sincerely mourning for the leader and hungry for revenge. And even after death, the criminal authority has a special, reverent and respectful attitude - he got a real VIP-place in the cemetery, which is regularly looked after. It is always clean and tidy; fresh flowers are a must.
Like the famous monument to Minin and Pozharsky, the Armenian bronze cemetery houses the bronze majestic Rudik Oganov. A thief in law is surrounded by massive gates, marble vases and many flowers ... Since mourning, then in a big way, on a grand scale!
Rudik was not buried alone, but next to his brother Vladimir Sergeyevich Oganov (Vachkos Shestipaly), who, continuing the criminal war with Hassan, was killed some time after the death of Rudolph.
The bronze brothers are seated in old armchairs and looking thoughtfully into the distance. Despite the wealth of majestic monuments, there is never a theft. Perhaps the criminal authority of thieves in law extends its power far beyond the earthly limits?
