Electric stoves "Gorenje" (Gorenje): instructions, reviews

No kitchen can be imagined without the main assistant in cooking - the stove. The milestone of the taming of fire by man was marked by the appearance of modern heating devices, among the variety of which it is impossible to leave the Gorenie electric stoves unnoticed. For more than half a century, a company from Slovenia has been pleasing consumers with quality and functional products at reasonable prices. In the company's line of cookers are represented by three types: gas, combined and electric. What is the advantage of the last plates and what is their cost will be considered in this article.

From agricultural equipment to stoves

The history of the company, which today is revered by sixty countries on all continents, began in the postwar years in the Yugoslav village of Gorenie. At first it was a blacksmith's workshop. Its staff as of 1950 was 10 people. When Ivan Atelshek became the head of the workshop, diversification of production began. Along with the popular fruit presses, a small enterprise in 1956 patented the first thresher.

After the successful introduction of new agricultural devices, the company in the following years sold another 150 patents. Two years later, Gorenie switched to mass production. Then, in 1958, the company produced the first solid fuel furnaces, called “Toby”.

Moving the company to the mining town of Velenje also had a positive effect on the development of production. There, the metalworking organization was located in the free premises of the mining enterprise, which was interested in creating jobs for women whose husbands worked in coal plants. Then saw the light, released for the first time, gas and electric stoves "Gorenie".

Modern types

The variety of this type of household appliances is great. Slovenian company, keeping up with the times, produces three types of stoves. These are gas, electric and combined models. The gas type of the stationary stove is put into operation by means of natural gas entering the burners of the appliance.

The Gorenje electric stove differs from the gas counterpart in that the current is the source of its power. In the line of a Slovenian company, this type of stove combines three types of appliances: induction, glass-ceramic and cast-iron pancakes. Each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages, but more on that later.

The combination stove is mainly represented by a combination of gas burners and an electric oven. However, the K613E02 WKA series is the only instance in this segment that combines two gas, two electric burners plus a multi-function oven with heating elements and a fan.

Variety of electrical models

The Gorenje electric stove is presented in three versions. Externally, two of them cannot be distinguished: their hob is made of glass ceramics, the only difference is in the heating element. In an induction device, heating is performed using a magnetic field created by eddy currents. In the usual version of the glass ceramic cooker, cooking is done thanks to the resistive heating element.

The simplest option of an electric stove is a device, the hob of which is made of metal with cast iron burners.

Features of electric stoves

According to the functionality of the ovens, Gorenie electric stoves with a glass-ceramic surface or pancake burners do not differ much. However, there is a significant difference in them - this is the time to enter the operating mode after switching on. A device with cast-iron pancakes warms up for about one and a half minutes, while the glass-ceramic burners are ready to cook after 10 seconds.

The disadvantage of traditional plates with metal rings is the failure of the spiral under cast-iron pancakes. On average, their service life is 3 years. Repairing the breakdown requires replacing this spare part. For Gorenie electric stoves, its cost is from 1.5 thousand rubles plus the work of a master.

At the same time, the weakness of glass-ceramic models is their inability to withstand shock. If we break up such a model, it will be more expedient to completely change the stove, since its restoration will cost the consumer 70% of the cost of a new kitchen appliance.

Induction samples of heating devices are convenient in operation due to rapid heating, energy saving, but they also have their drawbacks. Their main disadvantage is the need to purchase special utensils for cooking.

Types of Ovens

What is the chagrin of the housewives when the expended effort to prepare a favorite dish in the oven becomes in vain due to a poor-quality household appliance. After all, the situation is familiar to everyone that when baking a pie in Soviet gas ovens, it was necessary to rearrange the pan so that the dessert cooked evenly. When progress stepped forward and electric heating appliances appeared for cooking gastronomic delights in a confined space, many consumers immediately fell in love with such models. The “Burning” stove with an electric oven has also become a favorite in the arsenal of cooks.

The fact is that in such designs a uniform distribution of heat is provided. The heating elements are located both below and above, and they work both together and separately.

Slovenian electric stoves are available with electric (classic) and multifunctional ovens. The latter have the setting of several operating modes. In addition to classical heating, there is the possibility of using the grill, convection, preserving the temperature of freshly cooked food, pizza and steam cleaning.

General recommendations for electrical models:

  1. The need to verify the compliance of the voltage of the mains with the requirements for connecting a new kitchen heater. This is an additional voltage of 220 or 380 volts.
  2. Installation of the plate is carried out by the master of the service organization, which indicates the date of installation in the "Warranty Card". From it begins the countdown of the warranty repair days, according to which certified centers can replace failed parts and contractual spare parts for electric stoves.
  3. Intended use only. It is forbidden to use the stove as a room heater.
  4. Before first cooking, clean the appliance from packaging materials and wash it.
  5. A separate section in the instructions for the slabs is reserved for proper care. This is especially true for glass-ceramic surfaces.

Rules for maintaining the appearance of the plate

A new product always pleases the eye with its aesthetic appearance. To keep the shine and beauty of the glass-ceramic surface of the plate for a long time, you should adhere to a few simple rules for care.

It is advisable to wipe the kitchen appliance with a damp sponge after each cooking. Do not use abrasives or metal washcloths for cleaning. Stain removers, universal cleaning compounds and household chemicals for the bathroom are not suitable for cleaning glass ceramics.

Some Gorenie electric stoves have scrapers in the kit, which are designed to remove roasted food debris. A similar tool can be purchased separately. Small impurities can be cleaned with dishwashing gel or window spray.

The surface of the burners should be cleaned after they have completely cooled down, the surface itself can also be wiped during cooking, since it does not heat up. In addition to special tools for cleaning glass ceramics, there are also artisanal care methods. For example, instead of a scraper, some consumers use a conventional razor on a surface previously moistened with vegetable oil.

Embedded Models

A few years ago, there was a tendency towards built-in appliances. In this case, during the overhaul of the premises with the replacement of the furniture set, special devices are purchased. In the line of a Slovenian company, in addition to standard plates, there are special surfaces that are mounted on a countertop. They are produced in five types. This is a built-in stove “Combustion” electric on a metal or glass-ceramic substrate, as well as induction, gas and combined.

Advantages of kitchen-mounted surfaces

Such models are not in vain in considerable demand because their advantages are obvious:

  1. Compactness. The standard “Burning” electric stove 60x60 can be replaced with a two-burner panel 30 x 51 cm.
  2. Purity. As a rule, gaps are formed between the stationary kitchen heater and the countertop, into which food crumbs will inevitably fall. In the case of the embedded version, such troubles are excluded, since the panel is combined with the countertop and forms a continuous surface.
  3. Possibility of refusal from the oven. The Gorenie hob can be installed without an oven, and this is another plus in oversized kitchens.

Electric stove "Combustion": price and series

Not only excellent technical and operational characteristics are possessed by Slovenian kitchen heating appliances, but also the Gorenie firm may surprise the consumer with its design series.

Luxury and nobility are saturated with Classic models. By color, you can purchase anthracite and ivory items. The cooking surface of the Classic series is represented by glass ceramics. Price range from 33 to 42 thousand rubles. Popular models: EU 55 CLB and EU 67 CLB.

The graphics on the glass door of the oven and the interesting shape of the fittings differ in the Infinity series. The cost of products is 43.7-47.8 thousand rubles.

Retro design will cost lovers of this direction 40 thousand rubles. There are only two electric stoves in this series: anthracite hue and ivory.

Inexpensive electric stoves are presented in the design category "Standard". For 20 thousand rubles you can buy an electric product with cast-iron pancakes. From 28 thousand rubles plates with a glass-ceramic panel are sold. The most expensive plate in this segment is the EU 57341 AH, its price is 34.2 thousand rubles.
