Each of us dreamed of learning about future events in life at least once. Work, family, children, career successes - what will change in your life even after six months is impossible to predict. Such a chance appeared in people in the series "Remember what will happen."
Actors and directors Bobby Roth, Nick Gomez and John Paulson told the audience an incredible story.
TV series production
The basis for the serial film was taken by the same name by the Canadian writer Robert Sawyer. The “Remember what will be” show was launched on ABC in September 2009.
Initially, the order was made for 12 episodes, and then decided to shoot the full season. The hopes and promises of the directors to create at least three seasons did not materialize. Actors of the series “Remember what will be” finished shooting in May 2010.
Even the participation of the famous composer Ramin Javadi, known for the projects “Game of Thrones”, “Escape” and “Iron Man”, did not save the situation. After the release of the series of the first season, the series was closed.
Plot
One fine day: October 6, 2009, all people on Earth lose consciousness for 2 minutes 17 seconds - this is the beginning of the first episode of "Remember what will happen." Actors, or rather, their characters, did not lose time in vain - many managed to get into the future and see events that will happen exactly six months later.
The FBI team is investigating the incident. The purpose of the secret project "Mosaic" is to find out the causes and obtain information about the possible recurrence of such a collective fainting. Agents conduct an investigation, and the main source for them is people's memories.
It is worth noting that the heroes of the series reacted differently to news from the future. Some fall into despair, while others, on the contrary, are in a hurry to bring joyful events closer. Another category of people - those who were left without visions. However, this does not bode well - it means that in six months they will no longer be alive.
The FBI has at its disposal records of all video cameras with which agents find out that one person managed to remain conscious on the day of the “eclipse”. The investigation leads to two scientists who later admit that the incident could have occurred due to their experiences with tachyon dark matter. It turns out that physicists are working for a secret organization, whose representatives deliberately made jumps in time, learned useful information, and then used it to make a profit.
Joseph Fiennes
According to critics, the main reason for the low ratings of “Remember what will be” is the actors and roles. In the series there were many unknown persons, but the audience was still able to feel sympathy for the main characters.
The FBI agent charged with the investigation was played by Joseph Fiennes. His character Mark Benford is smart, self-confident and assertive. Despite a poor prognosis in the future, Mark keeps himself in control and is not distracted from the puzzle. Together with his wife Olivia, they raise a little daughter.
Joseph Fiennes is a UK film, theater and television actor. He received his first role in 1995, together with Liv Tyler in the film “Escaping Beauty”. In addition, viewers could see Fiennes in the films Red Baron, Enemy at the Gates, Shakespeare in Love, and many others.
Dominic Monaghan and Jack Davenport
Fans of the popular multi-part film “Lost” could not help but notice the reminders that the series “Remember what will be” left (actors and roles, building a story with a lot of flashbacks). In addition, in the first episode, viewers saw an advertisement for the Lost project, located on the bus, as well as a street billboard with offers from the fictional company Oceanic Airlines (flight 815).
Another link connecting the two projects was actor Dominic Monaghan. The thirty-nine-year-old Briton has a whole army of fans thanks to the role of Meriadoc Brandybuck (The Lord of the Rings trilogy) and a character named Charlie Pace (Lost). In 2009, the project “Remember what will happen” appeared in the life of the British movie star. Actors Dominic Monaghan and Jack Davenport played physicists who made time travel possible.
Simon Campos (Monaghan) - a professional with a high level of intelligence, Ph.D. He received at his disposal a laboratory at the age of 18. His colleague Lloyd Simcoe (Davenport) specializes in quantum physics, is committed to the Nobel Prize. After the death of his ex-wife, he independently raises a son with autism.
Sonia Walger and John Cho
The main support for the FBI agent Benford was the wife of Olivia and Dmitry Nou, his partner in the series "Remember what will happen." Actors Sonia Walger and John Cho are familiar to fans of serial films.
Olivia Benford is a trauma surgeon. Despite problems with her husband, she is devoted to the family and adores her daughter Charlie. Sonia Walger took part in British shows, and in 2001 made her debut on American television. From 2006 to 2010, she starred as Penny in the Lost Project.
Young and very talented Dmitry Nou is often in a hurry with conclusions, so he needs the help of a more experienced partner. The career of actor John Cho began with small roles, but once in his life the film "American Pie" appeared. In addition, Cho took part in such well-known television projects as Doctor House, Anatomy of Passion and How I Met Your Mother.
