Secrets of fishing: catching carp on boilies

Fishing carp for boilies is the most optimal, catchy and effective fishing method. Boyle is a bait in the form of a ball, its diameter - from one centimeter. But most often when hunting for this rather large fish, they use a ball with a diameter of at least 2.5 cm. Depending on the fishing methods, both floating and sinking boilies are very successfully used. The choice of the type of bait is determined primarily by weather conditions, the time of year and the type of reservoir. Boyles can have a different smell. For example, those made from semolina or cornmeal have a fruity aroma, while those that are made from fishmeal smell like fish, bloodworms or mollusks.

Absolutely everything is taken into account: weather conditions, flow velocity, the nature of the bottom of the reservoir. So, carp, as a rule, lives at a decent distance from the coast. Therefore, you need to rely on the need for long casts. For this, a sinker weighing 80-100 g is taken. With such powerful castings, the optimal fishing rod option is a rigid, semi-parabolic one. Its standard length is 3.5 m. But if you need to increase the casting distance, you can use a fishing rod of 4.5 m. Secondly, catching carp on boilies sometimes requires a certain skill from the fisherman. For successful fishing, the ability to make good casts is not enough. When fishing, the carp can provide a fairly strong resistance, so the use of power inertialess coils is justified. You also need to consider the thickness and strength of the fishing line.
