The birth of a newborn is not only a great joy, but also a responsibility. Often, especially for this event, a whole set of things is acquired: a baby stroller, a bathtub for bathing and, of course, a crib. The most important indicator when choosing the latter is an increased level of security. But how to avoid the baby falling to the floor while resting? To do this, it is advisable to use a special children's limiter for the bed.
What is a limiter?

Advantages and Disadvantages of Baby Bed Restraints
Let's look at the positive and negative aspects of applying this solution. Among the obvious advantages of limiters, it is worth noting the following:
- The presence of a side does not make the baby worry about a possible fall to the floor during sleep. The installation of the barrier gives the child a feeling of complete security. Therefore, when in bed, he behaves extremely calmly.
- Parents do not have to worry about a blanket or mattress sliding off the bed, and the child will have to freeze.
- Sidewalls that run along the entire perimeter of the bed protect babies from drafts.
- All sorts of toys can be hung on the limiters with slots, which reduce the level of anxiety of the child during rest.
As for the negative points, they relate primarily to the limiters made of soft materials. So, fabric products are able to collect dust and pollution, which the baby will have to breathe while in the crib. Soft materials get dirty pretty quickly, need careful care and frequent washing.
In the presence of a continuous side, the intake of fresh air and visibility are blocked. The last drawback does not allow the baby to know the environment. If the limiter is presented in the form of vertical or horizontal rods, there is a possibility that the child will simply get stuck between them and get injured.
