As the name implies, the furniture bolt serves to fasten together individual parts of the structure, so that they make up one whole. Such fasteners can be used not only in manufacturers, but also for direct assembly at home.

- in agriculture they use plow bolts, with the help of which the installation of attachments on equipment is carried out;

- Eye bolts. These elements have a loop cap instead of the usual one. Ropes are often attached to such bolts, since they can withstand the load on the entire axis, evenly distributing it along the base.
Scope of use of furniture fittings
Earlier, furniture sets were assembled with the help of special wedges and dowels, but the technology does not stand still, so these hardware replaced them. Furniture coupling bolt is used in the manufacture of:

In reverse cases, it is recommended that the fittings have a zinc layer that carries protective properties. There is a separate category of bolts, which due to their operational characteristics are used not only in industrial fields, but also in furniture production. Din 603 - furniture bolt, which has a cylindrical rod with a head on the end. In this case, the thread can occupy the entire length or only a certain part. A nut is used to create the joints, or a hole is prepared in advance in one of the parts to be fastened.
This type provides fastening strength, therefore it is used not only for wood, but also for metal structures. It can be found in road bumpers and bridge fences. As for furniture, such a furniture bolt is more suitable for garden sets that are made of thin metal.
