The year 2005 turned out to be especially difficult for him, as the Spanish law enforcement officers (more than four hundred police officers, several helicopters and armored personnel carriers) began to pursue him. But the thief in law Taro Oniani managed to escape. His only daughter (at that time she was 12 years old) was detained.
Return to home country
A couple of months after the special operation "Wasp", which was arranged by the Spanish police, he was granted the application for Russian citizenship. Therefore, in April 2006, he arrived in Moscow and settled here. A new blow below the belt came in mid-summer 2008. At the meeting, which was held on the ship in the Pirogovsky reservoir, a raid occurred. A little more than 50 criminal authorities were detained by the police.
