Lenkom: a very brief history of creation
The main idea of creating a radically new theater, where the most daring and vivid productions were embodied, originated in 1927 in a circle of young and energetic actors. Then the first professional theater of working youth (TRAM) was created.
At first, the actors combined work in Soviet enterprises and playing on stage. But soon TRAM became a full-fledged theater of professionals. The repertoire mainly included productions of Soviet classical works - plays by A. Ostrovsky, M. Gorky, A. Pushkin, N. Ostrovsky.
On February 20, 1938, the sign of the stage changed dramatically. From now on, the inscription “The Moscow Lenin Komsomol Theater” was burning on it. The troupe from the former TRAMPA successfully connected with colleagues from the Moscow Art Theater - R. Ya. Plyatt, B. Yu. Olenin, S. G. Birman, S. V. Giatsintova. Soon, these brilliant actors of the Lenkom Theater were accepted by the public for an encore.
Throughout its history, several prominent leaders have seen the stage. Since 1938, the theater was managed by I.N. Bersenev, S.V. Giatsintova, S.A. Mayorov, B.N. Tolmazov. “Lenkom” reached a special peak during the time of the chief director and artistic director A. V. Efros. Which created his own special school of actors.

Legendary Actors
The Lenin Komsomol Theater would not have been so prosperous without a vibrant cast. At all times of its existence, the most talented and subtly sensitive lyceum artists appeared on the stage, who contributed to the formation and development of their second home.
Among the first cast of brilliant actors of the Lenkom Theater were Rostislav Plyatt, Sofya Giatsintova, Serafima Birman, Vladimir Solovyov. All of them were awarded the title of Honored Artists of the USSR.
The next stellar galaxy Lenk became Alexander Abdulov, Oleg Yankovsky, Mikhail Derzhavin, Pavel Smeyan, Leonid Bronevoy, Dmitry Maryanov. Unfortunately, all of them, bringing brilliant colors to the bright palette of the theater, ended their earthly journey. The chain of tragic deaths in the early 2000s gave rise to a lot of legends, the most mystical of which is the legend about the curse of the sorcerer. These rumors are not without logic.
The fact is that the theater too quickly found a replacement for the leading artist Nikolai Karachentsov, who had a terrible accident. All his roles were assigned to Dmitry Pevtsov. Offended by the victim, Karachentsova, in all respects, the benefactor brought a sorcerer to the building of the Lenkom Theater (Moscow), who cursed him, claiming that since then a string of deaths would follow on the stage. The tragedy also lies in the fact that all the departed actors were taken away by the modern plague - cancer. However, the artistic director of Lenkom, Mark Zakharov, claims that the terrible curse is fiction. Based on his words, all the terrible diseases happened from nervous strain and great physical exertion.

The scene sheltered many superstars who did not cease to win the souls and minds of the audience every season. Many of them combine playing in the theater and cinema.
The Lenkom troupe today includes such great masters as Valentin Gaft, Inna Churikova, Alexandra Zakharova, Alexander Zbruev, Alexander Lazarev Jr. Leading roles are played by Dmitry Pevtsov, Elena Shanina, Victor Rakov, Andrey Soloviev. The opening for the director and viewers were young actors - Maxim Amelchenko, Vitaliy Borovik, Alexei Polyakov, Kirill Petrov, Anna Zaykova, Esther Lamzina. Lenkom is a team that always strives for innovation and unusualness. The original staging of classical and contemporary works cannot but affect the hidden corners of the human soul.
The repertoire of the stages is diverse. The actors of the Lenkom Theater are involved in such productions as Roller Coaster, Strange People, These Adults, Dreams of Herr Moliere, Day of the Oprichnik, and The Secret of the Enchanted Prince. Fantasy based on the works of A.P. Chekhov and the comedy Aristophanes “Birds” “The Jumpers” are interesting. The play is accompanied by unusual musical accompaniment, emphasizing the ease of what is happening. But the most famous performance was and remains the legendary rock opera "Juno and Avos", in which the famous Nikolai Karachentsov shone. Today, the leading role is played by Dmitry Pevtsov.
