Now there is a computer in almost every family. It used to be computing technology that was only interesting to enthusiasts, but now even students are required to print essays and many other homework. For students of theses and term papers, the commission will not consider if they are written by hand and not typed on a computer. In fact, there are many reasons why a family decides to purchase a computer. The result is that a complex electronic device is bought by a person who often does not understand anything in this area. Accordingly, the phrase "cleaning the PC" seems to be something abstract.
The appearance of laptops symbolized the beginning of a new "era": now there is no need, as in the case of full-fledged personal computers, to navigate in the variety of components, their interaction and so on. About how to clean the computer from dust, think only those users whose knowledge level is above average. So, for many, buying a laptop and, for example, a refrigerator, is no different: we select the parameters, purchase and use it until it breaks. Alas, home appliances and computer technology are slightly different things (although the integration process continues), so you should know how to clean your computer from dust. Note that a laptop is also a personal computer, only of reduced dimensions and with some features (more resistant to shakes), so all of the above applies to both the first and second.
Everyone knows that the living room needs to be cleaned periodically. Dust comes from things from the street, even a renewing epithelium constantly streams from a person. All this settles on things and, importantly, penetrates the computer case and settles on its components. As a result - overheating and malfunctions. Usually, one cleaning in two years is enough (depending on operating conditions).
Often forums ask the question of how to clean your computer from dust. There is nothing complicated about it. You will need a screwdriver, a piece of dry cotton wool, a match, a vacuum cleaner (we will dwell on this point later), a little accuracy and, of course, knowledge of how to clean your computer from dust.
The main point: if the warranty period has not passed, then paid cleaning will have to be done at a service center. Otherwise, we do everything ourselves: disconnect all peripheral devices wires and the power cord from the case, remember their location so as not to get confused, place the system unit on the table with the left side cover up. We unscrew the two bolts and slide the lid back.
The main "dust collector" of any computer is an active cooling system. Usually the fan blades of the central processor are covered with a layer of dust, and the space between the fins of the radiator is simply clogged with it. It is clear that there can be no talk of any heat transfer. Using a match, we clean the radiator and use a vacuum cleaner (without a brush) to collect dust. We wipe the blades with a cotton swab. We carefully wipe the elements next to the board with a cotton swab and also βwalk throughβ with a vacuum cleaner.
You need to wipe all the dust, because such a disassembly is not done every day. It is recommended to unscrew the power supply (4 screws), remove the cover from it and also clean it from dust. After all the manipulations, the case is assembled in the reverse order. Who knows how to clean the computer of garbage and does this not the first time, it can complete the process in 10-15 minutes.
Now about the mentioned features:
- When using a vacuum cleaner, do not touch the nozzle with the electronic components to avoid electrostatic discharge.
- The ideal option is a portable vacuum cleaner, for example, a car vacuum cleaner.
- The vacuum cleaner can be replaced with a regular syringe. We take out the building to the street (there will be a lot of dust) and blow out all the collected garbage with it. It remains a little "walk" with a fleece.
