reference

The Russian CEEC, to which the Harvest church in Omsk belongs, is one of the branches of the Christian Pentecostal movement and belongs to the worldwide brotherhood of the Assembly of God. It has about two hundred communities. It is known that during the years of the Khrushchev anti-religious campaign, Pentecostals were recognized as a sect, which, like Adventist reformists, Jehovah's Witnesses and some others, is anti-state and savage. Later, the authorities made adjustments to religious policy. In the late 1960s, Pentecostals were given the right to register autonomous communities. In 1990, an all-Russian association was created, which was called the "Union of Christians of the Evangelical Faith in the RSFSR."

The history of the church "Harvest" in Omsk

This organization was founded in the summer of 1994. Significant assistance was provided by AVC / Nehemia. A Belarusian missionary group led by S. N. Sviridenko, who arrived in Omsk, held a number of evangelistic services in the Rubin and Crystal houses of culture. Then, in order to organize a house of worship, the Lutheran Church building was purchased (24-ya Rabochaya St., 27, Oktyabrsky AO). At the same time, S. N. Sviridenko conducted services in one of the villages of the Omsk Region - Lyubino.

In 1998, in the area of the Kristall cinema in Omsk (Soviet AO), Gorbenko S., Malyutin D. and Sviridenko S.N. was acquired land at the address: st. Energetikov, d. 6A for the construction of a new house of prayer here. In 2000, the construction was completed, after which the organizers decided to unite the two churches. Most of the participants in the prayers moved from 24th Rabochaya Street, 27, to ul. Energetikov, 6A. At present, it is here that the services of the Reaping Church are held. Some parishioners (approximately 30 people), for various reasons, remained in the old house of prayer. In January 2001, Denis Malyutin assumed the duties of pastor of this church. Today it is called Nehemiah.

In parallel, preventive work was carried out in educational institutions in Omsk and the region. After a year, in 2003, the center in Upper Karbush was transferred to the jurisdiction of the Harvest church.

In the winter of 2003, gypsies began to attend services. After holding concerts and carefully planned events for evangelism in the districts, they formed the Gypsy Church. In the winter of 2004, they held a similar event in the Chinese market. Soon after, the Chinese Church was organized. In the summer of 2004, a new center for help to drug addicts and alcoholics was opened here. After the evangelistic services held in the same year, a church was created in the village of Achair.

In 2005, it was decided to start services for the homeless. In 2006, they opened spiritual help centers for drug and alcohol addicts in the city of Isilkul and the village of Krasnaya Tula. Mostly, in addition to participating in prayer meetings, they are engaged in explaining to friends, relatives and relatives information that is contained in the Bible, giving them scriptures to bring to the subject, and leading them to sermons and meetings. In addition, believers voluntarily donate funds (tithes) for the needs of the Church, some supply building materials for free, and help with their own vehicles.
