Holidays like all - both adults and children. After all, this is a great reason to relax and have some fun. There are holidays that we celebrate with the whole country, or even with the whole world - such as New Year, Christmas or March 8. There are personal celebrations - anniversaries and birthdays. But there are seasonal holidays, which in different institutions can be celebrated on different days.
For example, many celebrate the spring flower festival. The scenario for this event can be any. It all depends on who celebrates it - the younger group in kindergarten, high school students or employees of a large company.
Flower festival. Scenario
Preparing for any event requires a lot of time and a lot of mental effort from the organizers. After all, you need to think over every little thing. We suggest you to read our script holiday colors. It can also be carried out on the street, especially if the sun shines and warms in the yard. It is better to hold such an event with school children. However, if you give free rein to your imagination and change some details, you can please both young children and adults by giving them a festive “floral” mood.
Main goals
Many events are aimed not only at having fun, but also at achieving certain goals. This scenario is different and our holiday colors. At school, teachers try not only to share their knowledge with children, but also to instill in them love for the world around them. The main objectives of our holiday:
- To educate schoolchildren in love for plants, to teach them to be careful.
- To give children as much knowledge as possible about flowers (and not only), to tell about the diversity of our nature.
- To form skills that will help children recognize plants and observe them.
What needs to be prepared?
The holiday should be remembered for its vivid details, and not annoying mistakes and hitch. Therefore, you need to prepare for it carefully and in advance. Here is what you will need first of all, if you take as a basis our script for the flower festival program:
- Drawings of flowers and other plants for decoration.
- Books about flowers. Of these, you need to arrange an exhibition.
- Records.
- Music center, tape recorder or computer with speakers.
- A large basket with a variety of flowers for decoration.
- Separately wildflowers or small bouquets (poppies, daisies, roses, tulips, carnations and others).
The beginning of the holiday
The event will be held by two presenters. This is considered the best option, and provides for it not only our scenario of the festival of flowers. At school, the most appropriate composition, under which the presenters will appear before the guests, will be “The Seasons” by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

A flower girl comes to the guests to the music. If you are preparing a script for a flower festival for adults, then for her you can come up with a seductive outfit. In front of the children, she may appear in some traditional image or in a flower costume.

In our version, the introductory part takes a rather long period of time. But we described the scenario for a children's flower festival. If you are the organizer of the celebration, which is designed for an adult audience, then the introduction can be slightly reduced. But in both cases, contests begin further.
We solve puzzles
Conduct this competition (and others) can be one of the leading, and the other character. The Flower Fairy, Beauty Flora, etc. can come to guests. Riddles can be not about flowers, but about nature:

Artists - on stage
Pantomime should definitely be included in the scenario of a flower festival for children. After all, each of them in his heart dreams of being an artist. The participants are divided into several groups, which should come up with and play a small sketch.
The theme, of course, should be floral. The group can come up with it itself, or you can pre-prepare leaflets with the names of topics and invite participants to draw lots. Even adults will be inspired by the idea to come up with scenes on the themes “The first leaf appears”, “Bud blooms”, “Pollinating a flower”, etc. You can approach this task seriously and with humor.
Flower relay
Not only entertainment, but also new knowledge can give guests a holiday of flowers. The script can be supplemented with stories about flowers, poems, etc. And then check the knowledge of the participants in the celebration.
From the guests form two groups. Each group is given one letter, which they should take turns calling a flower. This contest can be held in two ways.
In the first version, each of the groups calls flowers, and the leader marks the time. We win as a team, which made it faster.
In the second version, the names of the colors, the participants of the two teams speak in turn. For example, we set the first team to the letter “L” and the second to “P”. The person starts from the first team and says - Lily of the valley. The participant of the second team speaks his word and says - Chamomile, etc. The team is losing, the next participant of which cannot give an answer after a certain time.
Songs about flowers
The program script for the flower festival must include the performance of songs. Only your imagination works here. Songs can be performed before guests by invited artists, you can create and learn potpourri songs from children, you can even put records with famous hits to give the event a touch of a retro party.
But after the concert, we advise you to invite guests to also show their vocal art. To do this, you need to prepare a karaoke system in advance and choose the right songs. It can be “Camomiles hid”, “Lavender”, “Million scarlet roses”, “City flowers” and so on.
Flower ball
So our holiday comes to an end. There is only one item that we included in the script of the holiday. Ball of flowers!
All guests are invited to the dance floor. If the event is held in nature, then you need to find a large clean clearing in advance.
You can diversify the dances. Among the participants in the festival can dance girls in costumes of various colors. If the holiday is held for adults in a cafe or restaurant, you can dress up in such costumes for waitresses who will deliver drinks and light snacks to guests.
Holiday in kindergarten
Separately, I want to talk about the smallest. After all, a kindergarten can celebrate a flower festival. The scenario in this case needs to be developed so that as many children as possible take part in all the scenes and productions.
It is worth preparing for the kids as many diverse surprises as possible, lively concert numbers and interesting fun contests. The whole holiday should be arranged so that the children seem to be told a fairy tale, and they become its main characters.
A lot of songs should sound at the festival. We advise you to learn these songs with the guys in advance. It is much more fun not only to listen to the artist singing, but also to sing along with him in chorus.
Many fairy-tale characters will appear in front of the children - Fairy of Flowers, Little Boy with Finger, Belyanochka and Rosanochka, Zlyuka-Drought and others. Carefully think over costumes - everything should be bright, colorful, memorable. This will allow children to feel even more love for flowers and wildlife, to appreciate its beauty.
As for contests, then your imagination has no boundaries. Riddles, quizzes, song and dance contests, etc. Winners, of course, should receive well-deserved gifts, but be sure to give consoling prizes to those who could not win. Every child should have a cheerful and festive mood . If the bitterness of defeat reigns in his soul, then after the holiday he will have an unpleasant aftertaste. In this case, the child is unlikely to learn how to treat flowers with love and respect. And in fact this is the main purpose of the event.
