Many people, especially Americans and Europeans, like small, cozy and secluded houses, whose living area is literally 10 sq.m. Does this seem incredibly small? Not at all! If small houses were built by a specialist and a knowledgeable person in this matter, then everything that is needed will fit inside. So, what is the smallest house in the world?
“Van on wheels”
That’s what they called one cozy tiny mansion built by American Di Williams. This is the smallest house in the world, with an area of only 8 square meters. And the woman does not live there alone, but with a child! And very comfortable. The house, by the way, is quietly hiding in the backyard of a woman's friends. Inside is everything you need. A small bathroom, a kitchenette with a stove for one burner, a washbasin and a very spacious entrance / living room. Upstairs, under the roof, is the bed of Dee and her son.
How did you get the idea to build the smallest house in the world? In fact, this unpleasant incident provoked. Dee had a heart attack 10 years ago. And she thought - what are the plans, what kind of loans can we talk about? The girl says that she thought - since at any moment she could be fatal, then you do not need to spend precious time on hoarding. As a result, the woman built this house as soon as possible, put solar panels for heating and electricity, and healed happily with her son, having her own roof over her head. And now, by the way, everything is in order with her.
European “representatives”
Above was described the smallest house in the world in America. But there are many more. Take, for example, a tiny house in Warsaw, which joined the Church of the Holy Spirit. It was built in the XVIII century. Then people lived there, and now it's a newsstand.
In the UK there is a small mansion of bright red color, with a two-story one. Upstairs there is a kitchen with a living room, and downstairs there is a shower with a bedroom. Only one person will feel good in such a dwelling.
In Salzburg there is a house whose facade is only one and a half meters. The background to its occurrence is quite romantic. They say that once a young lady answered her lover to a marriage proposal that she would marry him when he had his own housing. The guy was very poor, but smart. So he squeezed his mansion into the wall between the two houses that already existed then.
Tiny but prohibitively expensive
Not so long ago, an announcement was popular in London: “The smallest house in the world for sale!” But then his fame faded. Because we bought this mansion. Only 17.5 square meters, but the cost ... 275 thousand pounds! This is about 27 million rubles at today's rate! A fabulous amount, and obviously no one from the Russians would have bought it. And it’s logical, because for such a price you can buy a luxurious 3-bedroom apartment in the center of any city in Russia.
At its widest point, this house is only five meters away. Yes, even a microscopic patio is. Opposite the front door there is a kitchenette, and to go up to the bedroom, you need to go ... along the "hanging" steps, which still have to get through the kitchen table. However, the picture provided above shows this. It is not very hygienic and comfortable that a miniature toilet is also a shower at the same time. However, the house has already been bought. It is not known who the owner is, but people thought that he would rent it out. The accommodation is really very nice and is an excellent place to spend a couple of nights.
Original houses
People designing such “crumbs” have an interesting mindset. When looking at a work of their architectural art, this immediately becomes clear. All the miniature mansions look very interesting. But there are really special instances. Take, for example, the smallest residential building in the world, which is entirely made of environmentally friendly materials. Wood, double-glazed windows of the highest quality, LEDs instead of lamps ... very interesting and practical.
The American caravan with a kitchen, shower room and a berth, the area of which is only 6 square meters, has also become popular. Like a Brazilian house, whose width is one meter and height is 10. At first they wanted to cancel its construction, but then changed their minds. Also in Tokyo there is a hi-tech house. It was erected on a tiny piece of land of a triangular shape, but it turned out very practical.
There are many more such examples. But even after hearing about all of the above, we can conclude that the smallest houses in the world can be cozy and comfortable.
