This process takes place in three stages. First, a surface layer, which consists of powder soil and liquid varnish, is applied to the disk. Further, its surface is treated with liquefied metallized paint.
Each new batch of products is then sent for another inspection. Here they are placed in a special laboratory where VSMPO disks are checked for operability. Only after this, the factory makes a decision whether to allow a particular product to be sold or not. Thus, the risk of selling defective goods is reduced to zero.
Thanks to the multi-level high-tech production technology, VSMPO Vega disks can withstand operation at the most extreme temperatures. They retain their strength in winter and summer, all the time remain as attractive as they were originally in the store. Therefore, these discs are perfect not only for domestic VAZs, but also for many foreign cars of Japanese and German production.
As for the cost, VSMPO Vega can be purchased at a price of 3 to 6 thousand rubles. The disk, which is presented in the third photo, costs about 5 thousand rubles. Basically, the price depends on the size of the product. And since VSMPO produces disks with a diameter of 13 to 17 inches, the price range is very wide. The main thing that is in all products of this production is high-strength and wear-resistant steel, thanks to which the wheel will last several decades.
