At the same time, dealers insist on pre-ordering a model that will significantly increase the chances of getting the desired car. type of body, a gasoline four-cylinder engine is installed under the hood of the car, the volume of which is 1.6 and 1.4 liters. Each of them, respectively, has a capacity of 123 and 107 horsepower. The acceleration time of the Hyundai Solaris Hatchback to hundreds of km / h was reduced to 10.2 seconds. This is a very decent result for such a motor. Fuel consumption per hundred kilometers (depending on driving mode) varies between 4.9 and 7.8 liters. It should be noted that the small turning radius is a little more than five meters and allows you to successfully maneuver even in limited conditions.
Naturally, Hyundai Solaris (hatchback) also has its drawbacks. First of all, we are talking about the outright stiffness of the suspension and the unstable behavior of the car. A very strong shaking is characteristic of the interior in case of wheels falling into a pothole. And it is felt even at low speed. If the driver does not hold the steering wheel firmly, a “walk” in the front simply cannot be avoided. On a flat surface, the suspension does not behave so capriciously. Small pits pass smoothly. At a speedometer mark of more than 120 km / h, the car is frankly noisy, which is explained by not the most successful aerodynamics of the Hyundai Solaris Hatchback, as well as the lack of speeds in the box.
The cost of the model in the domestic market in the minimum configuration with the "mechanics" is estimated at 443 thousand rubles. In the case of an automatic transmission, a potential buyer will have to pay extra (and pay 478 thousand for the car). It should be noted that the Hyundai Solaris Hatchback was created with the aim of filling the niche that freed up after the cessation of production of models such as Goetz and i20. No one disputes that this car has its flaws, but for the money it’s foolish to demand the same quality from it as a luxury car. Judging by the hype that has now developed around the model, the Korean manufacturer has every reason to expect that he has a new bestseller.
