Who are the Baptists? Teacher's opinion

In many cities of Russia you can see the following picture: young and not very people, women and girls walk along the porches, knock on the doors and ask tenants questions: β€œDo you believe in God? Do you know when paradise will come? ”And if someone enters into a conversation with them, they immediately say:β€œ We are not sectarians, we are Baptists. ” By doing so, they deliberately mislead uninformed people. So who are the Baptists? These are Protestants who broke away from the English Puritans centuries ago. Basic principles of Baptism:

who are the baptists

  • In the world there is only one authority for all spheres of life - the Bible.
  • Only adults who voluntarily realize faith in God can be baptized . Those who have not been baptized are usually expelled from the community.
  • Each member of the sect is equal to another and is sacred.

There are several basic principles of Baptism, however, in reality, everything does not look at all as it is written. Yes, some Russian Baptists are ready to engage in dialogue with the Orthodox Church. Some of them preach the dangers of drug addiction and other bad habits, speak out against abortion and propagate seemingly the right values. It is believed that this is a non-dangerous sect. However, teachers and teachers who encounter Baptist children know how negatively the influence of this religious movement is. Who are the Baptists? These are people who prohibit children from going to school, preventing them from communicating with their peers.

Baptists of Russia
Baptists are sectarians who fraudulently draw into their faith people with a weak character, survived grief, or for some reason remained alone. At first they provide assistance, understanding, they can sympathize and support. Baptists help the poor, open children's recreation camps and their own schools. However, one of their commandments says that community members cannot have personal items. But what about apartments, for example? It's simple: give them to the community. Not all Baptist groups reach the socialization of property, but there are many examples where people gave back to the sect all that they had, depriving their family

home and income. And this despite the fact that another commandment preaches freedom of religion and conscience. Who are the Baptists? People who are doing their best to increase the number of community members, because it is profitable in material terms (and only to the top). Perhaps someone will not agree with me and the question of who the Baptists are will give their answer. They can say that Baptist Christians are ordinary people, they strive to do good and live righteously, because only the righteous will go to heaven.
Maybe. But in words, any religion strives for good. Does striving for paradise exclude a good education, intellectual development? Unfortunately, most sectarians cannot boast of either.
Moreover, even by agitating passers-by to accept their faith, sectarians are able to give only learned answers to alleged questions. Any deviation from the memorized scenario confuses the poorly trained preachers, silence or leave. This is very similar to NLP. Who are the Baptists? In my opinion, these are people who are unable to make independent decisions, floating on the course prescribed by the Bible. I do not want to offend anyone. I am just sure that individuals who can answer for themselves will not aspire to the choral singing of psalms or to the afterlife paradise. From my point of view, living righteously is possible without the help of a sect.
