Cakes are a delicious pastry batter with a variety of fillings. After all, it is the filling that makes them so different and tasty at the same time. And no matter what it is, it is always the main dish of the table - magnificent, rosy and fragrant. I want to offer an alternative to apple pie - a pie with cottage cheese and apples.
Pie with cottage cheese and apples.
For the test you will need: 100 grams of granulated sugar, 250 grams of flour, 100 grams of butter and a teaspoon of baking powder.
Filling: 500 grams of cottage cheese, a glass of sour cream, four chicken eggs, four apples, a glass of sugar, a packet of vanillin and two tablespoons of semolina. The pie with cottage cheese and apples turns out to be very soft, due to the cottage cheese included in the composition.
Getting started: first knead the dough, for this we take soft butter and rub well with sugar, add the baking powder, pour the flour and knead the dough. It should consist of numerous crumbs.
Cooking the filling. Mix cottage cheese with sour cream, add granulated sugar, eggs, semolina and vanillin until smooth. I wash the apples well, remove the peel, cut out the core and rub them on a coarse grater. We mix the resulting apple puree with the curd mass and mix.
The resulting dough must be divided into two halves. We take the form, coat it with oil and spread one of the parts of the dough. Lay out the filling on top and cover with the second half. In a well-heated oven, put the pie for 40 minutes and bake at 180. The pie with cottage cheese and apples is ready.
Pie with cottage cheese and pumpkin.
For the test you will need: one egg, three tablespoons of sugar, 50 grams of butter, half a glass of sour cream, 50 grams of chopped pistachios, a little salt and baking powder, flour about 2-2.5 cups so that the dough does not stick to your hands.
For the filling: half a kilogram of pumpkin pulp, half a kilogram of cottage cheese, half a lemon, 2-3 tablespoons of sugar, 20 grams of water, prunes, two egg whites and five tablespoons of powdered sugar.
Preparation: carefully rub the egg with sugar, add a pinch of soda and salt. Then we grate the frozen oil on a coarse grater, add to the eggs and mix. Pour pistachios, pour sour cream and mix well again.
Now knead the dough, adding flour a little while until it ceases to be sticky. We wrap the dough in cling film and send it to the freezer for half an hour.
While the dough is cooling, prepare the filling. Cut the pumpkin into small cubes, put in a cauldron, add a little water, half a lemon, prunes, sugar and simmer until fully cooked. Put the cottage cheese and sugar in a blender and beat well. We also beat the cooled pumpkin in a blender and mix with cottage cheese.
Turn on the oven 180 degrees. While the oven warms up, we roll out the cake and put it in a detachable form, be sure to form the sides. Cover with parchment paper and put in the oven for about 20 minutes.
We take out the finished base for the pie, lay on top the finished filling of cottage cheese and pumpkin and put in the oven for half an hour. While the cake is baking, thoroughly beat the whites with sugar until a stable foam.
We take out the cake, grease with whipped protein and put it back in the oven, while reducing the temperature to 150 degrees. The cake can be removed when the protein turns creamy and elastic enough.
Pie with bananas and apples.
You will need a packet of puff pastry, two large apples, a banana, a little sugar and a yolk.
Lightly roll out the dough and lay in the form. Cut peeled apples with plastics and lay on top of the dough. Put the sliced โโbanana on the apples. The layers can be alternated at will. Sprinkle fruit with sugar, decorate with dough patterns on top and grease with yolk. We heat the oven and bake a cake for 40 minutes at 180 degrees.
Beautiful and delicious pie is ready.
