Seat Cordoba at first sight is associated with practicality. The car has an easily recognizable design with trademarks that are unique to Seat models: elongated rear optics, a trapezoid-shaped radiator grill and more.
Interior
The interior of the Seat Cordoba Vario is quite simple and ascetic, however, in the round shape of the reflectors of the stove and appliances, the front seats with pronounced lateral support and a comfortable three-spoke steering wheel, the sporty character of the car is traced. The illumination of the main devices and panels is bright red, claiming aggressiveness.
Interior materials are not very high quality: the plastic is too hard, unpretentious gray. There is not enough space in the back seat for three adult passengers. Owners of the car are pleased with the wide range of settings for the steering wheel and front seats, which is noted by them in reviews of the Seat Cordoba: the steering wheel is adjustable for reach and height, and seats for height. You can increase the amount of luggage from 485 liters to 1140 liters by folding the rear seats.
Specifications
The Seat Cordoba was delivered to the Russian car market in a four-door sedan version and was equipped with a 1.4-liter gasoline engine and 85 horsepower. The dynamics of acceleration to 100 km / h due to the small engine power left much to be desired: 12.4 seconds. Other versions of the car were offered on world markets, equipped with 1.2 and 1.6 liter gasoline engines and 1.4 and 1.9 liter diesel engines. Some of the engines were paired with an automatic transmission.
Options SXE
The equipment package of the SXE version included an alarm system, an immobilizer, a central locking system, electrically adjustable side mirrors, brake light repeaters, power steering, a Seat audio system, a rear seat with head restraints, electric windows in the front windows, a driver's seat height adjustment, a heater and a rear window wiper and a rear window wiper headlights.
Security
The Seat Cordoba safety system was presented by two airbags, an ABS system, a pedal block and seat belt pretensioners. As additional options, an electronic stabilization system, side airbags, traction control and an additional braking force system were offered.
Equipment
Seat Cordoba implied three equipment packages: basic Stella, middle Sport and top-end Signo. In the basic configuration, the car was equipped with seat belts with pretensioners, airbags, electro-hydraulic power steering, ABS system, central locking, power windows and a radio with four speakers. The rear seats were equipped with Isofix child seat mounts and height-adjustable head restraints.
The Sport version differed from the basic version of the Seat Cordoba in appearance, as it was equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels, fog lights with a different optics design. The interior design included leather trim for the parking brake levers and gearboxes, an on-board computer and electric heated side mirrors. The audio system is equipped with four speakers and a CD player. A sports suspension is installed on the car, which comes complete with a 130-horsepower turbocharged diesel engine, traction control and side airbags.
The top of the range Signo features options that provide an additional level of comfort and safety. All Seat Cordoba models are shipped from the factory with tinted windows.
The Spanish car from Seat turned out to be very reliable, dynamic and family. Sedan production was discontinued in 2009, after six years of assembly. Despite this, Seat Cordoba is still very popular due to its unpretentiousness, maintainability and low prices for spare parts.
