Irina Zabiyaka
"Chile" is a group that bears the nickname of its soloist. So once my mother joked, telling her daughter that her dad was a Chilean revolutionary.
Over its entire existence, the group released five albums, including Crime (2006), Summer Crime (2007), Made in Chile (2008), Time to Sing (2010). .), “The wind is in my head” (2015). All the songs from these albums are performed by the red-haired soloist of the “Chile” group, we’ll try to figure out what her name is and who she is.
So, Irina Alekseevna Zabiyaka was born on December 20, 1982 in the Ukrainian city of Kirovograd. When she was one year old, her mother, leaving her father, moved with her to Kaliningrad. Irina's father, Alexei Smirnov, died when Irina was 5 years old. Mother raised her daughter without any frills, as she went on sea voyages, and then worked as a postman or as a cleaner. The girl grew up in a very modest environment and managed small. From the age of 6, her girlfriends and friends began to attract her specific low adult voice, they loved when she sang something to them. And over time, it became her favorite pastime. Irina liked to enroll in different circles, but because of her restlessness, she quickly burned out. Mom because of this considered her weak-willed.
Search for yourself
However, for Irina herself this was such a peculiar search path. In school, she tried herself in dancing, folk vocals, drawing, journalism, kickboxing, gymnastics, playing the guitar and piano. At school, she was considered a black sheep because of her thinness, high growth, open wide smile, specific clothes and a funny name. Therefore, she often remained at home alone, and her favorite pastime was reading. It was then that she read all the children's books in the local library and very early began reading more adult literature. From youth, the girl began to get involved in paranormal phenomena and mysticism. At age 15, she saw a vision that showed her that she would sing on stage.
Creative tandem
At the end of school, the girl did not go to college, as there was neither money, nor certainty about who she wanted to become. Therefore, after the 11th grade, she went to study at the hairdressing lyceum in order to start earning faster. There she studied for two years. Then she made friends with a company of hippie teens, as she really liked freedom and independence from wealth. At the age of 18, she learned to play the guitar at an amateur level and then wrote her first song, Omut.
Group "Chile": photo, history of creativity
Her musical career began with a meeting with Sergei Karpov. They met at a student concert, and after a while Irina was already in his group a backing vocalist. At the very beginning of their creative tandem, Sergey was a composer, arranger and frontman. Then they got the opportunity to record their disc, but no one in Moscow heard them. They went to Moscow to earn money and look for a music producer, but they didn’t even have enough money to live on, and after several concerts they went on a tour of Poland, and here they got the green light. From there they returned already quite popular. By that time, Irina became the soloist of the group, which was called "Chile." This group and now has no analogues in Russia.
