In 2002, the famous project of the first channel “Star Factory” was launched. The country needed new artists, so this show was especially popular. Viewers watched all issues and actively voted for their favorite participants. Girls liked the soloists of the "Roots" group. The names of the guys shouted out from the crowd at every concert.
Winners take root
In 2003, all the young people of our country knew this group. Fans greeted their favorites with loud applause and knew their best songs by heart. Each soloist of the “Roots” group had a catchy appearance and could sing. The initial composition consisted of four people:
- Alexander Astashenok - was born in 1981 and believes that the creation of the team “Roots” was the brightest event in his life.
- Alexander Brednikov is a vocalist born in 1981. He always dreamed of being an actor, but he also liked the career of the singer.
- Pavel Artemyev is a guy who plays the guitar perfectly and has a special voice. Pasha was born in 1983.
- Alexey Kabanov is the lead singer of the Korni group, who plays keyboards beautifully.
Bright start and gradual decay
They managed to release their album, and even had a tour of two hundred concerts. They wanted to tear apart young girls, women also looked at the guys with emotion. But in 2005, each participant in the project was allowed to release a solo album. So the soloists of the Roots group felt a special freedom. The names and surnames of young people flaunted on their own records, they wanted to be singers with a capital letter, and not just part of the system.
The first went Astashenok and Pasha, in 2008 a new soloist of the "Roots" group appeared. That's just a particular joy such changes did not bring loyal fans. They stopped listening, and already in 2010 the guys ran away. Even as a team for the holidays, they do not represent much importance. Pretty guys grew up and today live their own lives.
Singers from the Roots group today
Each soloist of the “Roots” group builds his life as best he can. In 2009, Pavel was involved in a theatrical performance. The guy has his own group, which has not gained such popularity as the previous one. And in 2014, a strange substance was discovered in the soloist’s car, which they called the drug. The guy has no wife, he believes that marriage interferes with building a creative career and even dampens talent. That is why he is in no hurry to look for a life partner.
Sasha Astashenok lives with his wife, whom he met while still working in a group. They have a common daughter with Lena. He is an exemplary family man and continues to work on small creative projects.
Alexander Brednikov also built his personal life and is a member of theatrical productions and even starred in the film. In 2010, Sasha had a beautiful daughter. He appreciates his spouse and claims that only thanks to her is he a strong and successful man.
Alexey Kabanov is also a former soloist of the Korni band. Photos of this member often appear in print. At first he recovered greatly, which caused bewilderment of former fans. Then he threw off those kilograms and turned into a handsome guy with a flat tummy. In 2013, Lesha married an Armenian beauty. The wedding was magnificent and stylish, guests noted that the bride looked chic. And already in 2014, the couple had a daughter, Alice. Former soloist of the "Roots" group with a smile on his face took his women from the hospital. But a year later, a happy couple reappeared in scandalous chronicles. The wife was among the participants of the dubious project "House 2". In the same year, the singer accidentally broke his leg, speaking at one of the concerts.
Young and happy
All members of the group recall with particular nostalgia the years 2003-2005. This was the peak of their fame, fans considered them stars, and they did not have time to sign autographs. But the team could not cope with the difficulties that meet in the way of all performers. The guys wanted solo fame. Today, only a few remember them. As singers, they did not take place, and their former hits are remembered only by those who danced to the tearful tunes at the disco.
“Roots” are the successful first-born of the “Star Factory”, after them there were others. And they are guys who once smiled from glossy magazines and were the dream of thousands of girls.
