What are the types of suspended ceilings?
Installation of suspended ceilings is carried out using several types of material.
Ceiling cloths made of vinyl or PVC film, which are suitable for various configurations of rooms with a width of up to 3.2 m, have all kinds of textures - glossy, matte linen, satin. The mirror surface of the ceiling is created using vinyl. The disadvantage of this choice is the high risk of damage to this material and some features of the installation.
Textile stretch fabrics are made from natural raw materials with polyester threads knitted weaving, which is saturated with polyurethane for strength. The colors and texture of the paintings are very diverse. The only drawback of textile fabrics is the rather high cost and low resistance to moisture.
How are suspended ceilings held?
The beginning of the installation of the tension structure is to fix baguettes made of reinforced plastic or metal at a certain technology height. These are special guide strips that hold the canvas with various fasteners. At the stage of attaching the baguette under suspended ceilings, the wallpaper (their presence) does not play a role. These works do not cause much pollution. Then they carry out work on installing the ceiling canvas chosen by the client in a hot way for film materials or for fabric materials - by ordinary pulling. How are film ceilings mounted?
When installing a vinyl film cloth in the room, use a heat gun and raise the temperature to seventy degrees to evenly stretch it. Then the master fixes one corner, and after warming up the canvas - the rest. Then the canvas is attached to the middle of the wall, after which the final installation is made. When installing the canvas, a small gap is formed between it by the wall, which is masked by special overlays. How are fabric ceilings mounted?
When installing a fabric ceiling, they do not use heating. The canvas stretches from the middle of the wall to the corners in a crosswise order. The master takes measurements of the room on which the canvas is cut out.
For polyester fabric impregnated with polyurethane, the width of the canvas can be up to 5 meters. If this width is not enough, the fabric is stitched to the desired parameters. Fastenings on fabric cloths after cutting are welded, which allows you to independently remove and pull them again. Therefore, that first - a stretch ceiling or wallpaper - in this case, no difference. Due to the reusable mounting design, wallpaper can be changed often. The main advantages of a natural ceiling canvas are its excellent performance, resistance to temperature extremes and ease of maintenance.
When to glue wallpaper when using disposable mounts?
The film web is attached to the profile by wedges (blades) or glazing beads, which firmly hold the material in the baguette, but have a single use. This method has drawbacks: the canvas is adjusted to the desired size during installation and may be of poor quality; re-installation is not possible; between the guides and the panel, a technical gap of 1-2 centimeters is obtained, which is masked with special overlays, which makes it necessary to mount stretch ceilings after wallpapering.
But such an installation has a low cost, and a small gap between the "native" canvas and the stretch allows you to use the design with low ceilings. A positive feature of this method is the low cost of materials and installation, the smallest gap between the ceiling and the canvas is from 3 cm.

When to glue wallpaper when using reusable mounts?
Ceiling material is then pre-cut to the desired size. If the configuration of the room is complicated, computer cutting is used. This ensures even tension of the web without waves and damage, as well as small gaps between the wall and the ceiling material. Installation is made when the room is heated to 50-70 degrees. The fastening is fixed in the baguette profile, after which the heating stops. When cooling slowly, the canvas stretches perfectly. The baguette profile with this method of attachment uses aluminum. It is only necessary to establish overlays for backlashes. This installation method is faster and better. If necessary, the fastening can be unfastened and returned to its place on its own.
For fabric cloth clips are used as fasteners, which are fastened to a plastic baguette and have reusable use. A huge advantage of this fastening is the absence of gaps between the profile and the web. And in this case, what at first - a stretch ceiling or wallpaper - does not matter, because camouflage pads are not needed.
Experts recommend first gluing the wallpaper, and then install the ceiling. During installation, the walls and furniture are covered with building films.
