- Kefir or drinking yogurt - 1 cup.
- Semolina - 1 glass.
- Wheat flour, preferably of the highest grade - 1 cup.
- Boiled milk - 250 ml.
- About 200 grams of granulated sugar.
- One middle egg.
- Soda - 1 teaspoon (about 5 grams), it can be replaced with a baking powder.
Cooking process:
- Beat the egg with a pinch of salt in a lush foam.
- Add kefir, mix.
- We put a teaspoon of soda, kefir extinguishes it.
- Pour semolina, sugar and vanilla. Stir until smooth. We give 10 minutes to stand.
- Add the flour. The dough should turn out to be quite liquid and should resemble sour cream in consistency.
- Lubricate the mold with oil. Pour the dough gently.
- Bake for about thirty-five minutes at 180 degrees.
- Saturate well with milk.

Mannik with lemon
Required:
- 1 cup semolina.
- Kefir or yogurt - 250 ml.
- 200 grams of sugar.
- Two medium eggs.
- One large lemon.
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder.
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons of any sifted flour.
Cooking:
- Mix semolina with yogurt or kefir. Set aside for 20 minutes to swell.
- Beat eggs with a whisk with sugar and vanilla (cinnamon).
- Grind the lemon with a blender or with a meat grinder.
- Mix all the ingredients together, add baking powder and flour. The consistency should be sour.
- If the dough is liquid, add a little flour.
