How long do maternity leave

In anticipation of the miracle - the birth of a child - many future mothers are beginning to be interested in the question: “How long do they go on maternity leave?” And when to start preparing for the long-awaited meeting with the baby, when you have time to buy everything, wash, iron, and finally relax, because during pregnancy they get tired several times more than usual, and after the birth of a child there will not be enough time at all to rest or sleep.

Maternity leave is precisely that period of time when a woman should take more care of herself and her health in calm home conditions, prepare for childbirth and the postpartum period, when caring for a child requires special efforts.

How long they go on maternity leave depends on whether you have a single or multiple pregnancy. In the first case, the pregnant woman is supposed to rest from the thirty week, and in the second - from the twenty-eighth. However, it is not necessary to go on vacation on these dates. If the expectant mother feels great, if she is not worried about swollen legs or toxicosis in the late stages, she does not want to sleep all the time, then you can stay “burn” at work until the very last week.

Pregnant women are usually interested in the question of how many weeks they go on maternity leave, also because it is then that they receive maternity leave 140 days in advance. Count 70 days before birth, 70 after. And if the baby is born through cesarean section, then you need to add another 2-3 weeks, depending on the condition of the woman in labor. It turns out pretty decent amount, which covers the cost of the child the first few months. Of course, it’s not very right all the time to be interested in the question of how many weeks go on maternity leave, also for the reason that everything is very individual and depends on the health of the future mother. So, if a baby is born before 30 weeks, then in this case 140 days of paid maternity leave are added to the baby’s date of birth.

It doesn’t matter how long they go on maternity leave. It is much more important that leave for care last at least a year from the birth of the child. Many young mothers, making a career, abandon their three-month-old children to their nanny or their mother, return to work, and then they regret all their lives that the child said the first word or took the first steps in their absence. Ideally, of course, the mother should stay with the child for the first three years, teach him independence, let him understand that there is always a person nearby who is ready to protect him, his own guardian angel.

Pregnancy is a real miracle sent from above. It is necessary to value and cherish every moment when the baby is inside you, try to remember every push of it, every movement, because this is something that will definitely not happen again, in any case with this child. Yes, and after the birth of the baby, the days pass so imperceptibly, it is very soon impossible to imagine that once the baby was 50 centimeters tall and fit on his lap, because an absolutely adult child was running nearby.

Young mothers are already interested in not how long they go on maternity leave, but rather when they can return to work. It seems to them that caring for a child, cleaning, ironing, and washing turn them into a kind of degrading creature that spins all the time like a squirrel in a wheel, and all days are alike. However, returning to their favorite job, they understand that their heart stayed at home, next to the baby, and they want to run back all the time, hug the affectionate little man and not part with him for a minute.

Take care of your kids, try to give them all the love and tenderness that they are capable of, because life is so short. And even when it seems that fall out of fatigue, hug your child, and the world will again shine with bright colors!
