The construction of many new churches in Moscow was made possible due to the request of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill to the city authorities. In 2009, the city leadership approved the development of spiritual infrastructure and allocated land for the construction of church complexes for free. One of the two hundred new shrines was the Church of the Archangel Michael in Tsaritsyno.
Construction History
With the blessing of Archpriest Mikhail Shmanov, it was decided to transfer the temple chapel to the new parish. The priest, father Peter Vinokurov, under whose care the Church of the Archangel Michael in Tsaritsyno passed, expressed deep gratitude on behalf of the entire parish for such a generous gift. The chapel, as planned, was installed at 11 Luganskaya Street. Father Michael at the time also began from scratch. Therefore, he perfectly understands the difficulties of the new parish. Once, in order to quickly begin religious activities, he, together with believers, acquired and erected a large military tent. She became his first church. People ordered church utensils and brought icons to begin the service as soon as possible.
Now on Sudostroitelnaya Street stands a beautiful stone church. And it was decided to sacrifice his first temporary shelter to those who need it most. The Church of the Archangel Michael in Tsaritsyno acquired its first chapel, and people - a spiritual haven.
After all the necessary preparations, Father Peter requested the blessing of the Holy Patriarch for the Divine Liturgy. Meanwhile, parishioners of Lugansk every Sunday at fourteen hours gather for a prayer service.
Ministry and Spiritual Events
On March 7, the first service was held in the Temple of the Archangel Michael. It was held by Metropolitan Arseny. He also consecrated the crosses of the new house of God. Now every Sunday in the church there is a prayer service, and on Saturdays (at seventeen hours) an evening is planned.
Construction Features
The place for the spiritual center was chosen very well. Nearby are the metro station and a large sleeping area of the city, also plans to open a bus station. Based on the above, the Church of St. Michael the Archangel will be in great demand, and the number of parishioners will increase steadily.
The program, according to which about two hundred temples will be erected, is designed to have at least twenty thousand people in one parish, and they will live no further than 1 kilometer from the church. On February 23, 2014, a cross was solemnly erected on a small plot of land (0.39 ha). And the first prayer passed.

Summer is ending, and autumn and winter colds will come after it. Archpriest Peter Vinokurov has a great desire to create a more fundamental building before the advent of winter.
