Sergei Vysokosov (Borov is a nickname by which his friends and fans know him) is a Soviet and also a Russian musician. He realized himself as a songwriter and composer. From 1984 to 1998, he participated in the Metal Corrosion group. Since 2016, Laptev's Epidemia has been playing guitar. The musician was born in Moscow on October 17, 1966.
Biography
Sergey Lvovich Vysokosov assembled his first group in 1981 and named it “Indicator”. After graduating from school, the future musician began working at the Mosgorgeotrest and organized discos there.
In 1984, he made an acquaintance with Sergei Troitsky, the latter in the specified period assembled the Corrosion of Metal group. In 1985, the young man got a job as a janitor at Housing Office No. 2 on Sretenka.
Creation
We mentioned above where Sergey Vysokosov worked. It was in ZhEK, in the red corner, in Daevy Lane, that the debut concert of the Corrosion Metal band took place. After him, Sergey temporarily left the group, and in 1986 assembled his own team called Metalcrash.
In 1992 they created the project "NIL-62". "Research Laboratory" - this is how the name of the project is deciphered, in which experiments were reduced to communication of people engaged in creativity. The NIL-62 style is characterized as improvisational meditative music, which is born through telepathic internal contact between the members of the group.
Using the experience of folk, jazz, rock and other musical movements, the team takes the familiar forms to a new level and opens up previously unexplored ways of development. The group’s work includes compositions from NATO projects, the Natalia Medvedeva Tribunal and new versions of the Metal Corrosion songs.
Along with the musicians, the project involved video artists, designing the creative process, using new systems of fine and light art. In 1993, Igor Chumychkin and Sergey Vysokosov planned to make their own project, bassist Denis Kanov also participated in it. It was in this team that Pascuda and Black Mark were born.
After the death of Chumychkin, these works were transferred to Konstantin Kinchev. Sergey recorded these compositions on the album of the Alisa group called Black Label. The musician in the same period played the part of the harmonica for the song of the band "PPC" called Deaf for Your Prayers. This work was released on Metal from Russia.
Modernity
Sergei Vysokosov in 2003, as part of a project called Young Dreels, became a participant in a festival held in the French city of Rennes. In the period 2004 - 2006, he played in the Animal Cops team. In 2006, Sergey created the Boroff Band team, it included bassist Konstantin Lipatov, guitarist Vlad Alisov and drummer Alexander Bondarenko.
The composition of the team changed in 2010. After that, drummer Vasily Kazurov, guitarists Vlad Alisov and Alexander Avduevsky, bassist Vadim Mikhailov played in the Boroff Band. In addition, for some time, Maxim Laiko, who was the guitarist for Corrosion Metal in the late nineties and early zero years, played in the group. In 2011, the composition of the "Hog Band" again changed.
From this moment the team got the following appearance: Sergey Vysokosov was responsible for vocals and guitar, Roman Nazimov took the drums, but soon he was replaced by Andrey Shatunovsky, Andrei Guklengof got the bass guitar. Currently, the project does not work due to lack of staff. In 2016, Sergey became a member of the metal opera Laptev's Epidemia.
He got the role of the guitarist of the group. In the same year, the classic Corrosion Metal team came together with the exception of the Spider. In 2017, Crutch, Lizard, and Borov played a one and a half hour concert in St. Petersburg at the Mod club, launching a tour called Korrosion.
