Each denomination has its own holy book, which helps guide the believer on the right path and help in difficult times. For Christians, this is the Bible, for Jews - the Torah, and for Muslims - the Quran. Translated, this name means "reading books." It is believed that the Quran consists of the revelations that were delivered by the Prophet Muhammad on behalf of Allah. Nowadays, there is a modern edition of the book, which summarizes the most important information, and in which original records are collected.
The essence of the Quran
The holy book of the Muslim community was once written by Muhammad and his ascetics. Ancient legends say that the transmission of the Koran lasted 23 years. It was carried out by the angel Jabrail, and when Muhammad was 40 years old, he received the whole book.
Nowadays, there are several definitions of the Qur'an. Some argue that this is a guide for the man who created the Almighty himself. Others assert that the holy book is a real miracle, as well as proof that the prophecies of Muhammad were genuine. And finally, there are people who firmly believe that the Qur'an is the uncreated word of God.
The origin of the word "sura"
The chapters of the Koran have long been studied by various scholars, but the professor and doctor of philological sciences Gabdulkhay Akhatov made a huge contribution to their decoding. At the same time, he put forward a number of assumptions, among which there is such that the title of the sections of this book indicates a high status, position. There are also versions according to which “sura” is a derivative of “tassur”, which translates as “ascent”.
In fact, the meanings of this word are many. Each scientist, philologist, researcher puts forward his own assumptions, which, of course, should not be relied upon as pure truth. Gabdulkhay Akhatov also considered the option according to which “sura” in translation means “fencing” or “fortress wall”. In addition, the scientist drew an analogy with the word "dovar", which translates as "bracelet", and the latter, in turn, is a symbol of eternity, wholeness, continuity and morality. As a result, Akhatov came to the conclusion that the concept of “sura” has dozens of different meanings. That is, it is multifaceted, and everyone is free to explain and translate it as he wishes. Indeed, in fact, the main thing is not the word itself, but its meaning, meaning and faith.

In the end, Gabdulhai came to the conclusion that the “sura” is the chapter of the book of the Koran, which is capable of changing the whole world of a person, turning him upside down. The researcher emphasized that when reading everyone should form spiritual energy, then the magical effect of the suras will manifest.
What are suras?
The holy book consists of 114 chapters - this, in fact, is the Surah of the Quran. Each of them is still subdivided into several revelations (verses). Their number can vary from 3 to 286.
All suras of the holy Quran are divided into Meccan and Medina. The appearance of the former is associated in people with the presence of a prophet in the city of Mecca. This period lasted from 610 to 622 years. It is known that in total there are 86 Meccan suras. An interesting fact is the arrangement of the chapters. For example, it can begin with the 96th sura and end with the 21st.
Characteristics of Meccan Suras
Surahs of the Koran have been interested in Muslims for a long period of time and continue to do this in our time. Considering a group called "Meccan", I would also like to note that they come in different types. This classification appeared thanks to Theodor Nöldeke. He suggested that there are 90 Meccan suras, and they should be located depending on the period of occurrence.
Thus, Neldeke identified three types of Meccan suras: poetic (from 1 to 5 years of the mission of the prophet Muhammad), Rahman (5-6 years) and prophetic (starting from 7). The first group is represented by chapters, which are depicted in expressive form, in rhymed prose. The poetic view implies images of the paintings of Doomsday, infernal torment and contains the dogma of monotheism.
The Rahmanic suras of the Quran got their name in honor of Allah Rahman, who was called the Merciful. It is believed that it was in the second Meccan period that the first predictions arose. The third group of suras is the most saturated. During this period, the text is filled with stories of ancient prophets.
Characteristics of the Medina suras
The Medina suras of the Koran characterize the period of Muhammad's stay in Medina, dating from 622-632. It is believed that these chapters of the holy book contain instructions and various regulations regarding religious, criminal and civil matters. In this group, there are 28 surahs. They are also randomly located, that is, there is no definite sequence.
Features of Sur
From ancient times, Muslims believed that every surah was endowed with a sacred meaning, imbued with wisdom that could prevent troubles and misfortunes, as well as protect from mistakes. Of course, simply by reading the contents of the Koran, a person will not feel like God’s, that is, Allah’s bosom, and all problems will not disappear in an instant. Reading should take place in a state of hope, in order to receive the blessing of the Almighty. After all, only faith can heal and direct a person to a better life path.
Among the huge number and variety of suras, the following are especially distinguished: al-Bakkara, al-Fatiha, Yasin, prayer for cleaning the house, al-Nasr, al-Insan and others. The Qur'an pays attention to the faithful and opponents of Allah. Therefore, sometimes you can come across horrific lines on the pages of the holy book.
Surah Al-Baccarat
For almost every Muslim, the Qur'an is a holy book. Surah Bakara is considered one of the most powerful and significant. In a row, she is the second and is the longest. Baccarat consists of 286 verses. In total, it includes 25613 Arabic letters. To understand the essence of this chapter, you must read the previous one - al-Fatiha. Surah Baccarat is its continuation. She explains in detail the content of previous revelations and is considered the guidance that was sent by Allah.
This surah teaches humanity life, conditionally dividing all people into three categories: faithful, those who do not believe in Allah, and hypocrites. Ultimately, the meaning of this chapter is that everyone must acknowledge that God exists and bow to him. In addition, the sura tells people about the life of Israel and his sons, about the times of Moses and the mercy of Allah to them. All Surahs of the Qur'an have special meaning, but Baccarat as if introduces the reader to the course of affairs, tells the background.
Muslim Funeral Rite
Like every nation, here the deceased is escorted to a long and calm path. At the same time, Muslims abide by some traditions and rules that are described in a holy book called the Quran. Yasin-sura tells about the funeral rites. According to the account, it is located in 36th place, but in importance it is one of the main ones. It is believed that the sura was written in the city of Mecca, and it consists of 83 verses.
Yasin is dedicated to those who did not want to listen and believe. Sura claims that in the power of Allah to revive the dead, and then he will be considered his slave. The chapter also tells about the struggle between believers and infidels and the result of these battles. Many Muslims regard Sura Yasin as the heart of the Qur'an.
Prayer for home cleansing
As noted above, the Qur'an is the holy book of Muslims, to which they attach great importance. Each surah carries its own mysterious and unique meaning. In addition to describing the life of the prophets and reflecting on the meaning of being, there are also prayers that help people protect their families from ailments and disasters, as well as cleanse their homes from evil spirits and ask Allah for happiness, love and much more. Here he is so multifaceted - the Quran. The sura to cleanse the house is one of many chapters convincing that Muslims are not strangers to household chores, and not just the fight against infidels.
To clean the house, the Surah must be read as often as possible. You can also listen to it as an audio recording, mentally driving evil spirits out of your favorite home. The essence of the chapter is the appeal of a person to Allah, who will protect and help at any time. As a rule, a prayer for purification is read three times in the morning and in the evening. Some recommend that the reading be reinforced with lines of the verses of the throne.
Thus, individual Surahs of the Qur'an play an important role in the life of the Muslim community. For many years they inspire, give strength and save people from troubles, misfortunes and other troubles. All of them, in fact, are God's revelation, a truth that does not require proof. And what comes from the creator necessarily brings good to the person. You only need to believe in it.
