The vast majority of drivers are wondering which gasoline is better on Russian roads from domestic brands developed according to the EURO-4 standard. However, it is worth disappointing all those gathered in advance: according to most forums and on various social networks (thanks to the huge number of tests and examinations performed), such gasoline is most suitable only for the EURO-3 standard (an outdated indicator), and even then not every manufacturer. The difference can only be felt between 95 and 98 fuels, while a product with a maximum octane rating for a gasoline engine is very rarely found at gas stations in Russian cities and is expensive (average price is just over thirty rubles). And in other brands of fuel, often used for all cars, the difference is not so critical. Therefore, the question of which gasoline is better, 92 or 95, has to be answered ambiguously.
Firstly, for cars (in most foreign cars), where the use of more diluted raw materials is contraindicated and AI-95 fuel is included in the recommendations, the difference with the use of AI-92 is not so noticeable. This bitter truth has the right to life only within the framework of domestic products. Diluted gas at Russian gas stations is almost no octane rating, often poor manufacturers make 95 gasoline even worse by adding various additives that destroy the car from the inside.
Secondly, in comparing two identical cars that are refueled at the same gas station with the AI-92 and AI-95 brands, the difference in operation is almost not noticeable (if the TNC is verified). The only indicator in this case, which gasoline is better, is precisely the pricing policy. At a cheaper 92nd, you can save up to several hundred rubles a month, no more.
But do not forget about car repairs, which can become more frequent in connection with the use of "harmful" fuel. Basically, you can verify this by looking at the spark plugs, on which, due to the low quality of gasoline, a film and a small deposit can remain. But this will only lead to the fact that in the near future will need another MOT.
So how do you decide which gasoline is better if all the tests performed indicate an insignificant difference between the two brands?
It is worth sticking only to your own opinion and choosing for yourself a high-quality gas station, which in a particular city or region will have a large number of positive reviews.
Nobody canceled the opportunity to ask for a certificate of fuel quality, but you should not rejoice only at the fact that they will show you a paper where everything will be certified by the highest authorities. If gas is faked in Russia, then the "indicator" on paper ...
It is best to conduct a survey of drivers who will help determine which gasoline is better to fill. This will at least help to choose one or two manufacturers that you can trust.
But do not forget that in winter the composition of the fuel should also change due to the large minuses on the thermometers. How, in this case, to determine which gas station switched to the winter format, and which ones pour “body-gas” gasoline?
Only the expertise of the selected fuel will help here, since according to external indicators it will be very difficult to determine the difference. To do this, you need to take a few drops, collect them in a container and take them to an independent laboratory.
Remember that the main indicator of the quality of gasoline will be the work of your car. Exhaust fumes, playfulness on the road, the sound of the engine - all this will tell the owner about the correctness of his choice, so which gasoline is better is always up to the consumer to decide, because he alone should be responsible for the safety of his car. And I want to ride my "iron horse" longer.
