As soon as summer comes, most car owners cover the windows of their favorite car with tinting (because tinting is nothing more than a film). Of course, those motorists who oppose it can offer air conditioning as an alternative, however, in some cases it does not save you from the heat.
Tinting auto-glass is such a delicate process, both technologically and legally, that non-compliance with the law of the Russian Federation is simply unacceptable. There are three types of imprimatur, although in fact only the first type is used: tint film, spraying, colored glass insert.
The undoubted advantages of tinting glasses include the following:
- Improving the appearance of the car, because removable tinting is tuning;
- relative safety, for example, upon impact: glass, thanks to the tint film, will not shatter into fragments throughout the cabin;
- thermal insulation, helping to save fuel by reducing the load on the air conditioner;
- reduction of blinding, both by sunshine and headlights when high beam is on;
- protection against ultraviolet rays. Of course, such a property can be expected if the removable tinting is very high quality;
- Security against theft: it becomes much more difficult for an attacker to view a salon, and even break glass.
Of course, the imprimaturity has a minus - this is a deterioration in visibility, which depends on the degree of darkening of the glass. Although, if we turn to the law, the light transmission should be at least 95 percent of the windshield (otherwise - 5 percent tinting), and at least 70 percent for the side windows of a car (perforated tinting - 30 percent).
Unfortunately, there are very few conscious citizens who fully respect the percentage of tinting of their car windows. And as a result: when passing a technical inspection, motorists for whom it exceeds many times the permissible standards have serious problems. To prevent this from happening, most car owners have recently preferred such a thing as perforated tinting - this is the same darkened film, only with holes. Its main advantage is that it has a very high percentage of light transmission, since light penetrates through these small holes.
It is worth noting a few important nuances if you decide to tint your car:
- it can be painted and metallized, and it is the latter that is preferable, since it has high operational characteristics, among which it is possible to note resistance to fading and increased thermal insulation. Such a film can only be distinguished by touch: metallized perforated tinting is much harder than painted;
- Imprimatur care is very important. So, as soon as the film was stuck, for five days the glass in the car should not be opened in any case; a month you can not wash tinted windows with water from the inside; perforated tinting “does not like” touching oneself along the edges; when you wash the glass, be sure to wipe it dry and never use any brushes.
Actually, perforated tinting is everyone’s choice, but the main thing is that he must be conscious.
