Kazan Polytechnic College opened its doors in 1962. The training organization produces highly professional workers. Graduates usually get a job at the Kazan Compressor Plant. The institution is rightfully proud of its professors. And not in vain, because they are taught by excellent students of vocational education, pedagogical workers of the 13th and 14th category, teachers, whose list of merit includes a state award, candidates of science.
Specialties under study
The Kazan Polytechnic College has more than 10 specialties. Among them, the most popular are:
- installer of ventilation, sanitary systems and equipment;
- electrician for maintenance and repair of electrical equipment;
- welder;
- machine operator;
- driver of construction and road machines;
- Auto Mechanic;
- locksmith.
Some professions taught are among the 50 most common working specialties in Russia. State-accredited specialties are taught in specialized lecture rooms equipped with visual aids and simulators. Workshops are also equipped with modern equipment.
College Achievements
On the basis of the educational institution there is a qualification center for the profession “Air conditioning system” and “Welding technology”. Kazan Polytechnic College is proud of its students. For example, one of them took the championship in the competition “Young Professionals” in 2016. A year later, the student also represented the country at the WorldSkills Championships.
Kazan Polytechnic College works closely with the Kazan Compressor Engineering Plant. At OJSC Kazancompresormash, students undergo practical training, and graduates are employed. Every year, thanks to the combined efforts of the two institutions, a competition is held, in which students of the professions “Welder” and “Turner” can take part.
Students eat in a cafe owned by the college, work out in the gym, study in the library with access to the electronic library and the Internet. Visitors are given a dormitory room for applicants. At the Kazan Polytechnic College, student self-government is actively advancing. Pupils participate in many movements, for example, Student Labor Units, Tatarstan Volunteers, Victory Volunteers.
