One of the most mysterious personalities of modern Russian pop music is Neuromonk Feofan. He hides his face in performances with a hood and remains in the shadow of the public. The man is the performer and at the same time the leader of a musical project from St. Petersburg with the same name. The team consists of three people: the Neuromonk himself, DJ Nicodemus and the Bear.
Team Features
The group performs drum and bass (drum and bass) music. This trend originated in England and then won the hearts of people around the world. The group is the undisputed leader in this genre in Russia. They were able to combine the incompatible: the direction of drum and bass and traditional Russian motifs. A crowd scene on stage, dressed in sundresses, bast shoes and other paraphernalia, recreates the atmosphere of Light Russia. Neuromonk writes the lyrics himself, they contain outdated words and the flavor of Slavism, and the performance itself is distinguished by the “edge” characteristic of that time.
Bright Russia of the Neuromonk
Neuromonk began recording his songs back in 2009, but the idea to create a group appeared much later. This was a joint decision by Nicodemus and Neuromonach. “In my heart is drama, in our heart is bright Russia” - under their name in 2015 their first joint album was released. He instantly won the love of listeners, due to his unusualness and novelty. And the song "Bright Russia" immediately took a leading position among all the works of the album.
Even critics warmly spoke about the album, and it entered the top ten most downloaded tracks on the iTunes chart after the release. The team after such a resounding success immediately went on tour in Russia and Belarus.
At the moment, musicians continue to delight fans with their new songs. They have three albums and six singles on their account, and in July of this year a video was released for the song "Sage".
