Chocolate Sausage Recipe - From Simple to Original

The recipe for chocolate sausages can be different - using ordinary milk or condensed milk, with or without butter, with the addition of eggs or fruits. It all depends on the imagination of the cook himself, as well as on his skills. Therefore, you are presented with various classic recipes - how to make chocolate sausage. Chocolate Sausage Recipe:

I. The simplest and most common is chocolate sausage with condensed milk, the recipe of which is given below.

Ingredients:

  1. One kilogram of broken cookies or any other large cookie, for example, "Jubilee". It is advisable that the cookies do not have any additives, otherwise it will affect the taste of the sausage.
  2. Bank of boiled condensed milk.
  3. One bar of dark chocolate.

Cooking method:

  1. First you need to break the cookies into small pieces. You can use a blender for this. At the same time, follow the texture, because we need not dust from cookies, but small pieces. Therefore, it is better to grind only part of the cookies in this way, and break the rest with your hands. Large pieces should be no more than 1 centimeter in size.
  2. Rub a bar of chocolate into a deep container on a fine grater. This procedure needs to be done quite quickly, as the chocolate melts right in the hands.
  3. Now you need to mix the crushed cookies with condensed milk. It is best to knead such a mixture with your hands, since with a spoon a homogeneous mass may not work. You can take a plastic bag or a mitten so that there is no direct contact of the mass with the hand. When the dough mixes well, you need to roll small sausages out of it. Then we dip the sausages in grated chocolate and send them to the refrigerator for one hour.

For cooking, we need:

  1. 200 grams of cookies. Choose one that is simpler, not too expensive. It contains fewer different additives, and therefore will not affect the taste of sausages.
  2. Sugar - 50 grams.
  3. Butter - one pack.
  4. Cocoa powder - 75 grams.
  5. Egg - 1 piece.

Cooking Technology:

  1. In a steam bath, melt the butter. Make sure that it does not boil, but only completely melts.
  2. Next, cook the cookie crumbs in the same way as in the previous recipe. You can leave more large pieces, then the sausage will be less sweet. In this very crumb, add melted butter. We begin to knead, then carefully add the egg. If you add it immediately, then the protein may curdle due to the temperature of the oil.
  3. Add granulated sugar and cocoa. Knead the dough thoroughly so that it becomes a homogeneous consistency.
  4. As soon as the dough becomes “tight”, a sausage can be formed from it. To do this, you can use both a plastic bag and a silicone mold. Take what you think is more convenient. Put the mass in a prepared container, and then put it in the refrigerator for several hours.
  5. Before serving, be sure to cut the chocolate sausage into equal pieces.
