In society, there is only one type of inter-gender relations accepted by society. Monogamy is a well-established type of family in which a man can have a relationship with only one woman.
Existing Family Types
The modern world has two types of family relationships - monogamous and polygamous. Monogamy is a relationship between two heterosexual partners. Polygamous relationships are the official relationship of a man with different women. Such a family organization, like polyandry (a woman has several husbands) is not perceived by a society in whose culture the type of these relations is not laid. Such family contracts cause condemnation and disapproval in the modern world.
With the advent of children, the monogamous family turns into a nuclear family. Families in which adult children have married and live together with the parents of one of them are called extended families.
Currently, the number of complex (extended) families has noticeably decreased in Russia. The reasons for this were: separate young families from the older generation; low birth rate as a result of a couple’s unwillingness to have more than one child; death of one of the spouses (over 13%), numerous divorces. Extended families, consisting of two or more married couples, account for only about 4%.
Monogamy in humans
Since childhood, people are instilled in a belief in a perfect relationship between a man and a woman. The content of many films and books contains the theme of “eternal love”. This type of monogamy is considered. This is the perfect form of family life. With age, faith in real feelings becomes even stronger, and sometimes a misunderstanding between a husband and wife leads to scandals in the family, which provokes one of the partners for treason.
Most people are very susceptible to the opinions of others and often act not in the way that “the heart tells”, but in the way that the “well-wishers” advise. As a result, more often than not, thoughts of treason appear not because of physiological needs, but against the background of social dependence. From this it follows that all kinds of psychological difficulties, fear of treason only accelerate its approach. Monogamy is an absolutely trusting relationship between spouses, where there is a connection of only two people - men and women, and there is no place for a third.
Disappointment in his partner is not a rare occurrence. But think about the fact that every person has flaws, including you. The biggest difficulty in family relationships is the ability to understand and forgive someone close to you. Once you learn how to manage your emotions, the results in relationships will not take long.
Love does not depend on the form of marriage. Monogamy includes not only the joint life of a married couple, but also full mutual understanding, trust in each other. Do not allow disturbing thoughts to ruin your marriage. Monogamy is, first of all, the joy of spending time together, of communicating with each other. Drive away all your complexes from yourself, forget the insulting moments present in your life together, liberate yourself intimately, be sexy, and suppress your jealousy.
