What did the communists believe in?
This is a complex issue that is more related to the realities of modernity than to human beliefs. In that large country, which is no longer there, they believed that it was possible to build a society that would provide each of its members with the best conditions for development. The slogan was: "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs." Unfortunately, this did not work out. And it was not created at all, since those who only noticed their needs stood at the helm, and the people saw only opportunities. That was the time. Looking back at those events, we can conclude that the Communists are hypocrites. All this has long been exaggerated in the press, disturbing the minds of the post-Soviet people. So the strongest country collapsed, and with it its only party.
Communists of Russia
Now everything has changed. Communists are a party that defends the rights of workers (proletarians). An idea arose along with the birth of the capitalist system. It is based on a negative attitude to the use of other people's labor for personal enrichment. The idea, unfortunately, is relevant now. And no democracy can replace it. The Communist Party is fighting to the best of its ability so that everyone can freely realize themselves, getting everything they need for this. This refers to both material wealth and opportunity. Agree that there is something to fight for! Only the strength of the adherents of communism is not enough. Until a mechanism has been devised that can break the "golden calf" that completely captures the minds of humanity. But the Communists (real) are not fighting with money. They are ideological people. Adherents are only recruited by the faithful, seasoned, able to refuse goods for the sake of justice. There are not many of them yet.
What is communism?

It arose (better to say, artificially created) on the basis of what was closely associated with the USSR - the country of the Devil for all "progressive humanity." But communism has not yet been in any state. This is a system that was built, built, but it did not work out. And his idea is very progressive: the harmonious development of any personality. This is exactly what Jesus was still calling for. Not for nothing that some Western ideologists have recently accused the Pope of communist views, seeing hateful ideas as the basis of his work. And he just fulfills the commandments of the Lord, urging everyone to take care of others, not to sin, not to offend, and so on. Representatives of major finances immediately became worried, even seeing communist ideas in the commandments of Christ !
Is it possible to build a welfare society
There have already been attempts, but the propaganda turned out to be stronger. As long as society is ruled by advertising and propaganda, destroying one's own idea of the individual about how it should develop, communism cannot be built. This system will remain utopian. He has only one chance to come true - to wait for such a collapse of the "golden calf", which will make it impossible to return the latter to the throne. Then people will start to wonder if it is so necessary to “take away” goods, where it is better to receive them, surrendering not to struggle, but to creativity!
