Vampires are the most popular representatives of existing evil spirits. In Russian, these bloodsuckers are called ghouls (from the words "drink", "revel"), they are also called "nosferatu" ("not dead").
These creatures, along with werewolves, existed and exist in the mythologies of all the peoples of the world. Today, the question of whether vampires exist has acquired not only everyday, but also a scientific character! These creatures are seriously interested in scientific minds, whole tracts and works are devoted to them. All the literature on vampires and a lifetime is not enough to read!
Immortal but dead
Vampires live forever on the condition that there is something to profit from. Interesting, but at the same time they retain their mind. They are able to think. They are preserved as individuals, in contrast, for example, from the dull-headed immortal zombies (living dead). In general, the vampire remains the same as it was during life, but, unlike a living person, he leads a nocturnal lifestyle. In the afternoon, he "rests" in his coffin or crypt.
To prolong their twilight existence, vampires are forced to hunt people, sucking all the blood out of them. You must admit that this is somehow selfish on their part ... A distinctive feature of all vampires is the rather long and sharp, like a razor, fangs that they use to bite through the skin of their victim. By the way, contrary to many ideas, they do not suck blood through fangs, but "in the old manner" - by mouth. Vampires are afraid of only one thing - real death! At least they say so themselves (according to some sources).
As mentioned above, there are many scientific disputes on the topic "Do vampires exist?" People have been puzzling over this for centuries, while vampires roam among us. Indeed, the nature of vampirism has not been studied at all. We still can not give an answer to the question of how to withstand the army of night bloodsuckers (and, believe me, we are not talking about mosquitoes)!
Where do vampires bite?
So, we have found out that the question “Do vampires exist?” Is at least of scientific interest, which makes us think about the seriousness of this mystical phenomenon. And now let's find out in what places this bloodsucker can bite us in case of meeting with him.
Below in the column we have placed places for vampire bites in descending order, starting with the most common:
- in most cases, a vampire can bite you in the carotid artery located on the neck, as there is most blood (this is the most favorite place for a bite);
- the veins located on the wrists of our hands are no less “tasty” place;
- take note that some sophisticated vampires manage to suck blood from the heart (!) and even on the stomach (one centimeter below the navel), but this is already exotic for the bloodsucker himself!
About the fangs ...
In one of the treatises entitled "Are there vampires among us?" connoisseurs argue about fangs.

On the agenda is the question: “Are the fangs sticking out of the vampire’s mouth all the time, or do they grow immediately before eating?” In this dispute, supporters of the second version are winning. Indeed, if the "sinister teeth" were sticking out of the mouth all the time, then the poor fellow would not close it, which would be very, very sad. Scientific minds here draw a parallel with the venomous teeth of snakes. After all, as we remember from the lessons of zoology, the poisonous tooth of a snake, like a folding knife, comes out of the mouth, only it is necessary to open it. When the snake closes its mouth, the poisonous tooth folds compactly into place. By the way, there is a dispute here. Some argue that the vampire's fangs do not add up, but simply crawl out and retract, like a cat’s claws. But be that as it may, the result is the same: two small wounds with uneven white edges are visible at the site of the bite. According to them, they determine that a person became a victim of a night bloodsucker.

Vampire bite is not death yet
Do you think there are vampires (photos of possible vampires presented in our article) who do not kill their victims? Of course yes! If anyone does not know, then the victim of a vampire will never die from his first meeting! Those who think otherwise are simply mistaken. After all, if this were so, then on our planet all living people would have died out long ago, and only hungry and sad vampires would wander through deserted cities and villages! Remember that only those people to whom the bloodsuckers have some special, biased attitude die . In this case, vampires begin to visit them night after night until the victim dies.
Are there real vampires?
Everything in nature lives by its own laws - physical, mathematical, political, and so on. Vampires, like other evil spirits, are an exception to all the rules, obeying earthly laws and sound logic. And, nevertheless, we cannot assert with certainty that real vampires do not exist! After all, we believe in fortune telling, in horoscopes, in mediums and psychics, moreover, many of us have been convinced of this more than once!
Since vampires exist not in parallel worlds, such as ghosts, but next to us, they obey certain laws, so to speak, they live "according to concepts." Here are the most important of these laws:
- in no case can a vampire simply take and break into someone else’s home, sucking blood from the first person he meets;
- he has the right to enter only that house where he had already been during his lifetime or where he had been as a vampire, or the one where he had been called;
- to stop it, just close (not even lock!) a door or window glass;
- without an invitation, no vampire will dare to enter your house, which is why the first victims are his relatives and acquaintances.
Perhaps it’s time for us to finish. So what did we learn about vampires? Yes, actually, we didn’t know anything about them! As they say, not caught - not a vampire. Agree, not a single vampire has been detained by a police squad until his identity has been ascertained. But still stock up on garlic and do not forget the crucifixion, because you never know how it happens ...
