Distance learning
The correspondence department of the Petrozavodsk Pedagogical College has been operating since 1993. Applicants are given the opportunity to take a course in the following specialties:
- "Preschool education";
- "Social work";
- "Pedagogy of additional education."
Both applicants who have just graduated from high school and graduates of high schools and teachers with practical experience can receive special education (an accelerated form of education is provided for them). The specifics of distance learning at Petrozavodsk Pedagogical College provides for a flexible schedule for students, most of whom combine study with work in their specialty.
Part-time students, in addition to the main academic load, are actively involved in scientific work (practical conferences, round tables, forums), social and cultural life of the college.
