Muslim prayer Al-Fatih: meaning and translation

Al-Fatih prayer is one of the most revered in the Qur'an. More than once, the strength and significance of the sura, as well as its effect on humans, have been proven. Every Muslim who performs namaz recites these verses several times a day.

The meaning of prayer

This is the first opening sura. The holy book of all the Muslims of the world, the Quran, begins with it. It was Al-Fatih's prayer that was first fully revealed. Despite the fact that the verse is small, its significance to people is enormous. No other suras can be compared in importance to this one.

Surah from the Quran

In the hadith (Muslim) it is said that the Prophet spoke of the Surah as follows: "Namaz is not considered fulfilled if the prayer has not uttered the Mother of Scripture."

It is believed that with the help of these verses you can achieve healing from any disease. According to other hadiths, it was said that once with the help of verses of the sura, the leader of one of the tribes who lived in an oasis was cured. The leader was bitten by a scorpion, and one of the Companions of the Prophet cured him by reading these sacred verses above him.

Abdul-Malik reported that the messenger of the Almighty called prayer the cornerstone of the Koran, and that it is the basis of the foundations.

It was this surah that became one of the two lights that Allah bestowed on Muhammad through his angel. The second lamp is the last verses from the surah of Al-Bakar.

Al Fatiha in Russian

The Surah speaks of monotheism, that punishment and reward await any person: both the believer and not.

The verses also say praise to the Lord, recognition of Him Almighty. There is a request that the Almighty direct the believers to the true path, and not to the one along which lost and unbelieving souls go.

The reader of this sura can safely hope for a reward in the afterlife and joy in worldly existence. These verses must be memorized by every intelligent person who believes in One Allah and the Creator of the world.
