Ah, the word "wedding" is sweet for any girl’s ear. All girls, without exception, from early childhood dream of how their celebration will be held. They present in detail their dress, veil, hairstyle and bouquet. They know exactly how many guests will be invited, where the banquet will be held and what a sweet wedding table will be. Only one detail remains not captured by the young ardent imagination - what will be the bridegroom.
And so, time passes, the missing link (the bridegroom) is finally found, and the girl from dreams goes to work. And there are enough cases in preparation for the wedding, you need to think through and prepare everything, because on the decisive day everything should go without a hitch.
The first thing that needs to be decided honestly and impartially is the budget of the event. This is the first and only action of "addition" in organizing a wedding. Only “subtraction” will go on: a dress, a suit, rings, a car, a photographer, and, finally, a banquet with a change of dishes, an indispensable attribute of which is a sweet table.

It is customary to serve a lot of dishes and drinks at the wedding, and the dessert component should not be an exception here. Recently, candy bar, or sweet tables, in Russian, has come into fashion. This is a dedicated area reserved exclusively for desserts. It does not have to be a table. It can be a rack, a cabinet, a ladder or a trolley. Here you need to focus on the overall design of the wedding dinner, its style and color scheme. But one rule must be strictly observed: a sweet wedding table should be plentiful, appetizing and beautiful. It can be based on any sweets, from homemade pies and cookies to delicious cakes and exclusive sweets from the best chocolatiers. It all depends on the original amount. But whatever it is, it should be a lot (7-10 types of sweets, 2-3 kg of each type). You need to focus not on the number of guests (although it, of course, also needs to be taken into account), but on the general view of the sweet corner, which should look like a good pastry shop window.
In the design of the candy bar you should use whatnots, shelves or coasters in order to arrange the treats at different levels of height. This is done, firstly, for the convenience of guests, and, secondly, so a sweet wedding table (see photos above and below) looks more advantageous.
Particular attention should be paid to the containers in which desserts will be served. If these are soft cakes or pieces of cake, be sure to place them in a wrapper or paper basket so that guests can pick them up and put them in their mouth without the need to carry a plate and fork. If sweets, dried fruits, nuts or other small hard products are offered, distribute them in transparent vases or special jars so that they are easy to see and convenient to remove. Warm approval from the guests will be caused by such an initiative of the organizers as putting small closed bags on the table, in which you can take your favorite treat home.
Making a sweet table for a wedding should be thought out to the smallest detail: a backdrop, tablecloth, napkins, containers for desserts - everything should be sustained in the same style and “signature” wedding colors. It will be useful to add compositions from fresh flowers, vivid pictures or cards with the names of treats.
A wedding is one of those events where fashion follows hand in hand with tradition. And one of them says: without a festive cake, a sweet table is unthinkable. Cakes of various configurations are prepared for the wedding: one-, two- and three-story, with figures, inscriptions, and also with decorations in the form of flowers and rings. The newlyweds take a knife together, cut the cake into pieces, and then distribute them to parents and guests. This is always a touching and solemn moment, when all eyes and lenses are turned on the heroes of the occasion, so you need to be serious about choosing a cake so that you don’t blush later looking at memorable photos.
